  1. Im using Chrome and have the default colors on my screen. BTW, I like Chrome even more than Firefox now.
  2. I don't have a can of Seafoam handy, but I believe it says to use 1 can for a tank of fuel in a car or truck.
  3. Ive searched and haven't found any thread about disassembling the forks and replacing the seals and springs. Ive found plenty of threads about how great new springs are, but no step by step procedures.
  4. According to your other post where you say you're longest ride was 250 miles, I think a HF trailer will be fine. You can assemble this trailer and use it, then later if you decide that motorcycling and trailering are going to become a way of life, you can then build yourself and custom trailer and sell your HF setup.
  5. L E T T E R S = 7 letters.
  6. http://www.tourtank.com/index.html Mount it to the rack on the rear of the bike. I know that Lonestarrider's tour tank saved my butt once fighting a bad headwind.
  7. New Mexico, Arizona, Texas, Kansas, Nebraska.
  8. I've been to that one twice. That's a wild party and it's on private property out in the country.
  9. $35 for a gas can seems pricey to me. It also looks like it's designed to fit in a Harley Touring saddlebag. The RSV/RSTD bags are wider so it would fit in the bag, but not like it would fit in a Harley bag.
  10. Probably some retarded insurance policy.
  11. I wouldn't let the dealer tear into it until Yamaha authorized it. No need to pay $600 to the dealer for no reason. If for some God-forsaken reason the bike will not be covered under warranty, used engines are available on ebay for around a grand. It'd be cheaper in the long run to do a complete swap out with a lower mileage engine instead of having the dealer doing an overhaul.
  12. If your throat had taken as much abuse as her throat has, your singing probably wouldn't be much better. She had to get famous somehow....

  14. Yeah, what Goose said.
  15. Because the Super Tech does not list the Yamaha Venture as a fitment. It is an automotive filter. The Super Tech filter fits most of the Mazda engines, which also happen to use the same thread fitting as most Japanese motorcycles. I personally use a Super Tech now, but my bike is out of warranty. I was using a Purolator filter, but now it has become more difficult to find. A non-OEM filter such as the Fram, K&N, Hi-flo, or any other filter can be used as long as it lists the Venture as a fitment and guarantees that it meets all of the OEM requirements.
  16. Around $10 at most of your auto parts stores.
  17. Thanks Freebird. I figured that option was here as well and I was looking for it, but I couldn't find it.
  18. On another forum that I'm on, the user has the ability to block signatures and avatars so the screen will load faster. Very handy for those with dial up.
  19. It's not a Venture. The fairing and trunk are wrong. It's a lower powered Royal Star.

  23. I like it without signatures.
  24. What kind of oil filter was on the bike when it went in?
  25. It's just snow and ice.
