I still have the stock radio. Replaced it once already. Sony is just not a choice I would make considering the endless issues I have had with thier products. I am gonna get a 2nd gen iPhone when it comes out next month and somehow work it into the system.

Seeing that third pic brings back memories. It is a very sad sight! When it happened to mine, I was so disgusted, she sat outside in the weather for years. Yes, shame on me but I have paid for that big! I never knew who did it. I finally replaced the engine guard a few weeks ago - $150. It actually carved a piece of the water pipe out - hasn't blown yet and does not look like it will. I still have a slight bent frame assembly and a mis-matched brown paint job from the huge whole in my fairing. That is how my VentureLine AirWing was busted too. I wish you the best on this deal and hope you get what you deserve.

No worries from me Don. The blue adds to the the theme, lol. To me, you can leave the color part alone. I do miss the upper bar though.

Sorry Brian, nothing here towards you. I have not been a Sony fan for a few years. In the past they may have had quality but recently they have traded quality for quantity and fattening up the executive pocketbooks. I have a 57" widescreen TV in the garage that ended up there before it was paid off. Sony was no help. Then, later there are service bulletins for the same issues I am having but guess what, I am past any help from them. I purchased a Sony combo VCR/DVD player and it would not play store bought DVD's. Took that back, bought the same thing from another store in another town, same problem. I have their DVD-in-a-Box surround system. Max receiver volume is 70, it must be at about 55 to even hear it and I still have trouble making out words sometimes. I have had numerous other product issues with Sony, will never purchase another one of thier products.

I don't mind riding the rain when I get caught in it. I hate the clean up afterwards. I spend more time cleaning my bike than riding (cleaned the lettering of the controls, lol), wish it were the other way around. When I was a teen, when it started raining, I got on the bike and went riding.

The wind pushed a gixxer off of its sidestand and on it's side here at work. Too bad for him, I think he replaced some plastic recently. And, whats he doin' on a bike today anyway.

I have seen that garbage. I won't buy from him as I imagine many people haven't. He is just shooting himself inthe foot. I am surprised ebay lets that stuff stay.

I actually had thought of this too, lol. Yea, i am sure a bunch of others have too. I was thinking a peace sign. It looks like a "V". Adding the "R" just takes too many fingers and they don't bend enough.

They got their eyes on the mining the moon for Helium 3. http://www.space.com/scienceastronomy/helium3_000630.html May not cure the fuel for vehicle issue but this should replace the nuclear reactors as an option. I do not ride much, so my can sit for a while between each ride. I installed an Odyssey last year and have never needed to charge it.

You had a long ride to think about all of that. I guess it was all pent up inside you and you had to get it all out somehow. Hence, why it was long. Good post and an interesting read! Had some things I did not consider or consider enough.
