Looking for some tips on things to have done prior to me signing for my 2010 Goldwing. I know once you sign and take possession, its all over has far as your barging power goes. Want to get what i can in writing before i sign on that dotted line. This my 1st Goldwing w/ Nav Pearl Yellow . I currently ride a 05 Yamaha Royal Star Tour Deluxe great ride, but don't have all the bells and whistles. Open to any info. Thanks My14car:337:

ACTUAL AUSTRALIAN COURT DOCKET 12659 --- A lady about 8 months pregnant got on a bus. She noticed the man opposite her was smiling at her. She immediately moved to another seat. This time the smile turned into a grin, so she moved again. The man seemed more amused. When on the fourth move, the man burst out laughing, She complained to the driver and he had the man arrested. The case came up in court. The judge asked the man (about 20 years old) What he had to say for himself. The man replied, 'Well your Honor, it was like this: When the lady got on the bus, I couldn't help but notice her condition. She sat down under a sign that said, 'The Double Mint Twins are coming' and I grinned. Then she moved and sat under a sign that said, 'Logan's Liniment will reduce the swelling,' and I had to smile. Then she placed herself under a deodorant sign that said, 'William's Big Stick Did the Trick,' and I could hardly contain myself. But, Your Honor, when she moved the fourth time And sat under a sign that said, 'Goodyear Rubber could have prevented this Accident!' ... I just lost it.' 'CASE DISMISSED!!'

The Reverend Boudreaux was the part-time pastor of the local Cajun Baptist Church and Pastor Thibodaux was the minister of the Covenant Church across the road. They were both standing by the road, pounding a sign into the ground, that read: 'Da End is Near Turn Yo Sef 'Roun Now Afore It Be Too Late!' As a car sped past them, the driver leaned out his window and yelled, 'You religious nuts!' From around the curve they heard screeching tires, and a big splash... I worked with Al for 30+ years and having both recently retired together we had become regular riding buddies. His latest restoration was a 1977 Suzuki GT500, that he had spent many hours bringing back to shape. Not 2 miles from home today on the 'Uki he was t-boned by a 91 year old coming out of a stop sign onto a 50 mph highway. Al was truly "one of the good ones", I don't think I had ever seen him upset, just an easy going guy. He will be sorely missed. A sad, sad time!

I ordered Morgan Carb Tune (Thanks to Sky Doc), I had my Yankee buddy sync my carbs back in October and they need it again. I didn't have the nerve to ask him to come to Zebulon, NC (he lives in Pa.) to sync the carbs again so I called him, found out what kind he had and ordered them. When they come in I'll read the instructions, sync the carbs and hang out my mechanics sign. I alredy have a jack and Carbon Ones adaptor for the jack; what else does someone need?

Today I had my first chance to hear a hopped up VMax ! OH MY LORD, I am in love again! That was totally awesome. I love the way that thing sounded even at idle!

Just an update on my 02 Midnight that was running poorly, the seafoam treaments, new plugs, fuel filter, etc... as a lot of you recommended:happy34: all helped but it ended up being exactly what V7GOOSE had told me to expect, a complete carb cleaning and resetting. And talk about a different bike after Kent walked me thru the process and showed me where the problems were and corrected them . And I am ashamed to admit that due to some problems encountered enroute to Kent's place, I showed up with an empty cooler, :sign **** happens:and , but that will be corrected in the future:beersign:. Thanks a ton Kent, job well done. Now if anyone would be interested in trading their pillow top seats for my studded Midnight ones in excellent shape, just send me a pm. , Bigdog .

I was riding home from work last night on a dark road and did really think too much about anything because it was warm and I was only a mile or so from the house. When out of the blue 2 deer jump out and both wheels locked up. I didnt panic, kept the bike straight up and missed the deer by only a few feet. I got to the stop sign put the kick stand down and had to take a breather. Its spring and the wildlife is out there, so please be safe out there. We cant let ourselves get compacent.

I was riding home from work last night at about 10:30 on Hwy 122 (for anyone who is familiar with that road). Just past Boston, IN theres a 3 way stop sign, and I did my civic duty and stopped. When I took off from the stop sign, a car ran their stop sign and came blowing into the intersection at about 55 mph. I gunned it, ran my bike off the other side of the road into the ditch and back up the other side the road and the car only missed my ass end by a hair. I don't know how I got out of that one and I didn't even dump the bike.

I let my membership in the Venturers site lapse, and now would like to visit some of the friends I made there, but can't sign back up, keep getting "No input file specified" when I click on most pages. Can't get anywhere to sign up again. I posted about this earlier, and someone offered to contact the management of that site for me but I lost the info. If someone has contacts there and can help with this, let me know. And thanks to VentureRider MGMT for being friendly about my questions about:happy65: this "rival" site. I will always be here, but like to spread the love around!
