Does anyone here have the Yamaha smoked lowers on their Venture and a set of Kuryakyn highway pegs mounted as well? I am not sure if you can do both so I am asking. Pictures would help showing the highway pegs mounted along with the Yamaha lowers...also would be interested in knowing the model number and any additional accessories needed to make that happen.

I have a 06 RSV. My sweetie has mentioned that she would like something like highway pegs for the back. I see that Diamond R has them. If any one has them mounted on a second gen can you post a pic so I can see where they would mount and how they would look. If there are any passengers willing to share their experience with passenger highway pegs we would appreciate that input as well. Thanks all

Can't say that I'm much impressed with the shipping procedures of Yamaha Sports Plaza in WA. Ordered Side trunk rails and footpegs on 25 Feb., They emailed confirmation the next day citing a delivery date of 5-10 March. Evening of 10 March I called them to ask about shipment. WELL, as it turns out, they had to order the pegs from another dealer and had not yet received them so therefore had not shipped anything. They did promise to ship the rails ASAP then ship the pegs when they come in. The original charge for shipping was $18.00. It will be interesting to see if I get billed more for what now will be 2 shipments. I suggested to the guy on the phone that they re-evaluate their shipment notification procedures, and let him know that I was not happy with the whole transaction . In the interest of customer satisfaction and dealer reputation, I would think that most dealers in a case like this would expedite the shipment of the items (overnight/1-2day) and not charge the added shipping costs. We shall see. It is now afternoon of the 12th and I haven't received squat . At the same time I placed that order I made orders with CalifSportTouring, Custom Dynamics and Cruiser Customizing. All those orders were at my door within 4 days . So much for my venting,,, How was your day?

I have a 1st Gen. I'm a peg fan. But I would like to either lower my pegs or raise my seat so it is a little farther from my seat to my feet. Do floorboards lower your feet? Has anyone made the seat a little taller?

I'm getting ready to mount a set of pegs I've had on a newer set of crash bars. Does anyone know a way to keep from buggering up the chrome from a previous position when first getting them setup and adjusted? And why is the chrome on the K pegs checking and flaking after only a few months of use? That's a little disappointing. They cost more than that.

I needed some more room to stretch out on long rides. I thought about installing some crash bars and slap some pegs on 'em but they looked to be to far out and to high up. I want to relax not pull a muscle! So I saw some floorboard mounted highway pegs on a bike and started hunting them down online. $153 for the mounts! The ya had to buy the "mount specific" pegs. Screw that! I had some iso pegs laying around so what I did was bought me some hardened 1/8th in zinc plated L brackets from Ace Hardware for $8 and some nuts and bolts. All said and done right around $10. I cut the bracket to the length I needed with my trusty hacksaw and drilled the holes I wanted in the bracket the pulled the rubber pad off the board and drilled corresponding holes thru it. Bolted the brackets to the underside of the boards and drilled a mounting hole for the pegs. Badda Boom Badda Bing....took me about an hour. Will post pics if anyone is interested. Next up....I think I figured out a way to mount a windshield without having to buy all of Yamahas overly expensive stuff.......post more after I run a few prototypes. But Im thinking that instead of dropping the $500 with Yamaha or the $325 with Memphis Shades I can do the whole shooting match for about $150...and the mounting should be more solid.....I hope

Kuryakin has highway pegs for Goldwings so you can stretch you legs out. Will these fit on a 1st generation? I need something with an extension. The little bitsy pets that fit directly to the engine guard just don't do it for me. Are there alternatives?

I want to add some type of highway or cruising pegs and am looking for advice. I had looked at the cruisin' pegs made by Aeromach but I just found out they are no longer making them. I liked the fact that they attached to the floorboards. Soooooooo, help me out. What works?

Hi all... With my '01 on its way I am already researching my first add-on. I have always ridden with highway pegs and I assume the RSV will be no different for long trips. I see alot of references to the kuryakyn pegs but are there any specific model numbers or other brands that I should be looking at? Thanks for the help guys. Merry Christmas...

Which hwy pegs fit '01 Tour Deluxe?
Guest posted a topic in Royal Star and Royal Star Tour Deluxe Tech Talk
The '01 Tour Deluxe has tiny engine guards, and I've had a heck of a time trying to find highway pegs that will work. Any recommendations?
