i must agree ed is the best. i had a slight problem and he could'nt do enough for me. top notch guy and business. they did'nt give me what i want, but i am hard of hearing so i had to go with ear buds.,no fault of the edsets.they would be great if you can hear. my wife says get some hearing aids. i say the word huh is alot cheaper than $5000. for hearing aids. bill

the 2009 rally committee is having a get together at the pro bass in springfield, mo., next saturday, aug 16, at noon. any one that wants to sit in with us is welcome to join us. you may just get some inside secret info on the 2009 rally. actually it's mainly just going to be a casual get together. if you come be in the pro bass parking lot by noon. bill

well, took a week and 2 days vacation, bought a tent and sleeping bag today, going to change oil in the v-star, got my satilite radio intune and working great,got rain gear, and my wife says i'm one brick short of a load, and don't let the door hit you in the ass. so i guess i'm all set for the final countdown. now i have to figure out where to put all this crap on the bike. i'm going to look like the beverly hillbillies when i pull in on friday, so don't laugh. hope this is'nt a dry county. no room for the cooler and beer. bill :clap2:

cinderella, is in charge of the tshirts and patches for the 2009 rally .she is on vacation this week. the contest is still going as far as i know. i will follow up on this. if any one has an entry hang on to it, and we will get this rolling. we got so much done so fast the first week we kind of slowed down for a short time while cindy is gone. hang with us. we still have lots of time before the meet. thanks bill

on the bmw thing i think i have had maybe one or two wave at me in my life. but in there defense we were riding our cushmans one day and my buddy ran out of gas. several guys on bmw's stopped and siphoned gas out of there tank into his. and got us rolling again. as far as sport bikes, the guys that have all the safety gear and are usually good riders most always wave. it's the idiots in shorts and sandals, and ain't got enough sense to ride a bicycle safely that don't wave. at least thats my observation. i think the beemer riders are just on a different wave length. it's a status thing. like they hang out at borders and drink gormet coffee and imported beer.

blood pressure meds are a pain to deal with. i lost alot of weight and got off most of mine. 10 more lbs and one more pill to go, and i'll be free to run the hell out of my zx14. right now the g-force makes me light headed. hope you get yours straightened out soon. bill

congradulations mike and alice. glad everything worked out and you had a good time. why don't you bring alice up to eureka springs and she can meet the group. alot of your old freinds will be there including me and linda. haven't seen you since vogel. i 'll even treat you and alice to dinner. now we have to get you back on two wheels. we really miss you. your good buddy bill

ive been waving for 45 years. what the wave means to me is hey buddy, we're in this together, have a great ride and a great day, cuz i sure am. i rode to ar. saturday and i must have waved at a couple of hundred bikes. some did'nt wave back but i don't care i figure thats their hangup. i did my part. bill :clap2:

i had nine of them made i am going to raffle them off at my eureka springs meet. they cost $3.50 apiece. i may put them on the sight for my cost plus postage. if they go over at eureka springs. the more they make the cheaper they get. like to send you one but i already committed the ones i got. bill

come on pgunn and yammer, i'll wave at you guys any old time. and even talk to you to boot.if they paid $25,000 for their wing they got screwed. thats about $8,000 more than i paid for my new 2008 wing. i even have a venturerider decal on my windshield it's a big one and i show it proudly. please don't kick me off the site. i'll have to buy a new windshield. bill

okay, might as well tell you my on the wing sight was a flop. think it was about the oil controversy. thats all they argue about over there. can't put moly in the rearend gear, might make the clutch slip. not even going to tell ya what i have in my wing. don't want to start something here. could it be mobil1 extended life energy conserving 10w-30. oops that slipped out. lol. anyway thats what i let slip on the wing site. not a bad group over there. but they don't hold back. when they cut each other down they don't cut no slack. think i like the venture riders. you guys really are the best. :clap2::clap2:

just wanted to throw this out there for a member opinion. while at the hub yesterday i checked out the meeting hall and they have a big stage. the committee has talked about having entertainment one night. what does everyone think of this and what kind would you want, a band, karaoki, d.j., or what? need a little output on this to put before the committee. bill
