it is kind of tricky planning two arkansas rallies at the same time,i keep getting the two mixed up. not to mention, i'm starting to plan my st. charles meet and eat for next spring. want to do something really different and neat next year. having a ball. glad i got you for a back up. buddy, youve been a really big help. bill :clap2:

well i got back from the hub about an hour ago. 600 miles round trip. boy am i beat. had a nice visit with dooder and colesgrandpaw. checked the place out, and think we made a great choice. the restaurant is a-1, the meeting hall is awesome, and the owners, debbie and randal are going to bend over backwards to accommodate us. want to thank dooder and raymond for taking the time out to meet me there. may not be to good at anything else , but i sure knew what i was doing when i picked my 2009 rally commitee. what a great bunch of give it all you got people. and i mean all of you folks on the commitee. we are going to try to make this something really special. debbie and randall are trying to aguire the dogpatch rv area. if this happens there will be rv parking and we will post it immediatly. this is a dry county, randall said he would ice down beer for us. not sure about how he gets by with it but if you like your beer, just to be safe bring your own. the closest place to buy it is 25 mile away. bill :clap2:

i may be a winger in disguise. you never know what i might be wheeling down the road on. just imagine a dingbat winger on a yamaha sight putting on the national meet in 2009. and showing up on a goldwing. the nerve of me. :rotf: bill

don't forget the eureka springs meet is coming up sept 10th through 13th. the weather is usually perfect that time of the year and it will be a great meet. the eidelweis may still have a couple of rooms left, there are motels ajaceint to the edelweiss if it is full. we will ride by the hub. bill

for all those who don't know, we have the 2009 arkansas rally info listed under rides and rallies now. here's a quick up date. all the rooms at the hub are full. there is a list of motels and camping areas that buddy has compiled under the rides and rallies forums.the overflow motels are in harrison arkansas about 8 miles from the hub. we will be posting up dates on a regular basis as we have new info. bill

just, did a little stirring on one of the wing sites. thats great i can go over there and and raise hell and relieve tension. what a grouchy bunch. talk about argue, just about every post turns into an all out rumble. i love it. sure glad to be back over here to catch my breath. bill :rotf:

michael, probably won't have a ride at the springs next year. the rally will be it. but i am going to have my st. charles meet and am planning a bigger and better one for next year. this years was wonderful. we had a great day. see you at the springs in sept. bill

any one going through st. louis on the way to pork in the pines. if so, i would like to ride along if i can swing going. i hate to ride that far alone. bill

ponch, thats really neat. colesgrandpaw is our ride coordinator. i will have him check that out. we will know alot more after my eureka springs meet in sept. cuz the whole committee will be there to talk to each other and we are going to the hub to check in with them on the dinner and other things. bill

we are getting registration set up soon. there will be a registration fee to cover the cost of the final dinner which will be catered, the t-shirts and patches, the id tags, and any other costs we incurr. i have asked black owl to come on board and help me with this and i think he has accepted. it's a little early yet we have to get a price per person on the above mentioned things. if we have money left over after the meet it goes in a special fund to help with future meets. thats the way don explained it to me. it is a non profit meet, but will cost a significant amount to put on. when we get it all worked out we will begin to take registrations. maybe black owl can jump in and fill in the details. bill
