Hi, which Year are the R1 Throttle Bodies you purchased ? 2000-2002 or 2006 and later ?? I don't know much about the Distances on a 2Gen. But i'm sure, fitting your 38 or 42 mm Throttle Bodies on a 28 mm Inlet is Waste of Time and other some other Resources(Money also). You definitely need other Intakes to provide full and solid Airflow without creating any major Turbulence's underneath the Throttle Plates. You may look for Pegscraper here, he has modified the Intakes of his early 2Gen to fit a V-Boost System of a Vmax. You have to take a close look on the Fuel Pump you intend to use. My 2003 Set is designed and driven at 2.8 bar 41 PSI Pressure. I'm working on fitting a 40mm R1 Body set to 35mm Vmax Intakes. This takes major Work, even if these Bodies are four Single Bodies. The Microsquirt isn't a bad Chioce for the Electronics. I'm not that familiar with it, but for what i've seen and read it fills our Demands quite well. I go with another Computer which i purchased for cheap Money dued to a cancelled Project :D

I've read in a Business Magazine months ago, that there are 3 or 4 "african american" Colleges in US. Not that they claim to be like this, but in Fact no other Races study there... And nobody does anthing against this. I believe that is ridiculous, what would have Martin Luther King said on this Issue ? After fighting for a long and bloody Time to make his Race equal, they now start a Sort of Payback .... united we stand on the Way to better world ... Germany is not far behind you, maybe equal or a bit ahead ..... even if its on the Way were we pay 100 Percent Taxes and the Government is telling you what is good for you, what is bad for you and what you have to think, eat, drink, (non-)smoke and how you're have to live your Life....

I use DOT4 Fluid on my Bikes. If there's a need for higher Boiling Points, use DOT 5.1 Fluid. All those Fluids are based on Glycol-Esther Base. Do not use DOT 5 Fluid. It's a silicon based Fluid, does not ruin the Paint job, but can ruin the Seal in System. As for synthetic Fluids, I think they can help under some Circumstances, the hygroscopic Effect is a Lot less than standard Fluids. But i do not see the Need of high-priced High tech in our Bikes. I agree with your Concerns about false Safety when using synthetic. It's just plain wrong that you do not need to bleed and replace that Fluid for Years. This is better Quality, no Question, but no Reason for exaggerated Maintenance Plan.

Brake Fluid is hygroscopic... The Fluid sucks the Water out of the Air. If it's too old, there's too much Water in the Fluid and this is what starting to boil first.

Well, for what i've read, there's the Gas Tank to be dismounted and some Other Parts(hangers??) to be removed... ok, it's easy, but it takes more Time than on a 1 Gen. -
Hey Folks ... what's going on here recently?? Libel and Slander at it's best ?? Is this the Way to show your Disrespect to a fellow Member :no-no-no::no-no-no::no-no-no: :stirthepot::stirthepot::225: :D

Well, with that Presets, i'd take the Plugs out and try to turn the Crankshaft as you described in the first Post. If the Crankshaft can be turned for more than 2 Turns, i'd mount the Plugs and try again with the Plugs in Place. As it is hard to dismount the Plugs on your 2Gen, i'd even try to turn the Crank with Plugs in Place. If this turns out to be positive, it's seems time to undo the left front /Stator) Cover and take a close look at the Starter Gearing and the Starter Clutch. The Gears are to be seen after you dismount the Cover, to reach the Starter Clutch it takes to dismount the Flywheel. This is not an easy Job. -

I'd have a good Look at the Battery and Cables first. If the Battery is weak, the Starter Clutch on the 1Gens is weak Point under such Condition and the Sound which occurs is horrible. The Engagement and Disengagment of the Clutch produce a hammering Sound. Now, your 2Gen has a updated Starter Clutch and this Sound would be way different. As is see these new Parts, i do not believe they are going to crack or break. As is said, check Battery and CableConnections first, make sure the Battery is charged and give it another try. Jump Start from a good Battery or your Car would possibly help. The Chances of a broken Valve Spring are not high. -
Oh .. i forgot to mention .... Someone has to pay the Price of the Losses .... but just in Case you can figure, it should not be the Company who screwed up... guess who will pay it ?? Those who have already lost their Home or have nothing left in their Pockets ? The Companies ? NO ...
-
Thanks, i think i got it... You payed 4500 for the Car by that Credit, the Bill came in, with some other Charges, e.g. 600 USD, you owe 5100. You payed 2500 on the Bill. The remaining 2600 Bucks are charged with 13 per cent Interest. Next Month .. next Payment ... Man, 29.99 Percent .... where can i start my Loan Business :whistling::whistling: This Kind of Credits Card and this use are not very common here in Germany. Normally we, use our Bank Accounts for such Purpose, which allows us the same Procedures. As for the Interest ... they NEED to get all their 'lost' Money back. ASAP .... This goes also around the World. We have a Stock in 'DAX', our 'Dow Jones', they announced that they are not affected in August last Year. That said, three other Banks are gone bankrupt and have to be overtaken by white Knights, others have lost literally Billions of hard earned Money. So, this Company finally had to announce that the have to forget about 400 Million in last Quarter 2007 .... The Stock went down 35 Percent that Day, another 20 Percent the next Day, then came the Collapse last Week ...

Man, i feel soooooooo sorry for you .... :rotf::rotf: as in the frozen Hell Question ... I sincerely don't know ...
-
i Do not understand .... You have a Credit Card ... all Charges for two Weeks or a Month culminate and are on the Bill the Credit Card Company is sending you. You pay the Bill in Time. But where are the 13%, or in the Future the 29.99 Percent, used in that Deal ??

Froggy, could you please rephrase these Sentences ?? I'm well aware of the Subprime Crisis, as it had a hard hit on our Stocks, as well as around the whole World. But what are you talking about with % ? Percent ? For what ? Stupid foreign Minds wanna know and understand ...

What i said ... I believe only in Statistics i fabricated on my own ..... :D :D :rotf:

Well, i did check the US -Site, but it seems they do not sell it in US. YET ... But WHEN it's hitting the US Market, i'm sure you will consider this outstanding Style of the Device .... and no need for translator Just kidding you, of Course :rotf: Hey, i like that Pink Colour somehow ... i even choose a darker Pink as Company Colour and main Colour for my Trucks ...

I think it depends on the Definition of 'rich' a Lot .... :D :D I don't know nothing about the Terms and Conditions in US, but i agree with the 'always at Work' Thing. I've done that for some Time when i was self employed. It was getting horrilbe. I was very glad when i moved my Office out of my Home.

Man, i think you're out of the Line somewhere. The same 'Outlaws' that founded the USA in 1776 also founded Canada. And for coming to USA from foreign Countries, just in Case yu didn't know, US has the most Rules made real tough, Passports with biometric Data and so on ... There were a Lot of People, who even haven't had a Speeding Ticket in in their Leife, but have been rejected from the USA by DHS. Just because their ethnic Roots or for beeing born in a formerly 'eastern Country'. I suggest to rethink and rewrite your above Statement. And ... as for the Food .... 1st all the Food you quoted seems to be named locally ?? There is not one Dish that states "American". So is it in Canada also ... 2nd, as the USA are the 'new World', how can it be that all those People say it's american Food. The Food and everything which needs to make it a good Meal were brought to Amerika by the Folks from the 'old Countries'. Only real 'american' Food would be the Food which the amercian Indians make. Well, i even do not know how they cook and how it would taste. But we here eat canadian Salmon sometimes, i personally like a canadian special Honey.

89 venture exhaust question
Squeeze replied to BJB's topic in Venture and Venture Royale Tech Talk ('83 - '93)
Hi, my 1993 was imported from Swiss, they have to use catalytic Converters since 1990. The Converters are in in the Pipes between Heads and Collector. Other than this, i'm with Squidley on this. -
Condor, you sincerly can not open this Can of Worms and NOT expect to get different Quotes from different Folks. For me, it's quite interesting and as i see it for now, if the Discussion stays this polite, it would be ok for me. Let's just try to stay that Way and take some Time in Posting. Maybe some more Words explain better what a Person thinks and feels about this Issue.
