    All I'm going to say is that I have gathered more info on taking a $300 project bike to cycle I would feel comfortable riding across country. (With a few extra spare parts.) I hope Don does make more than a few bucks, he deserves it. I won't get into the capitalism debate, but I own my own business. So thanks to Don for doing what he does. And hopefully someday I will get to an event and meet some of the fine people on the board..

    Well I told the old gal out for a 150 loop yesterday and two things happened... One I lost the speedo, the cable came disconnected, I'm assuming I have to remove fairing to get it back on. Second my left turn signal began to flash faster than the right, still working properly just faster than the right. Any help from any body would be appreciated. The turn signal is s little weird.     Mike, Where did you pick up your parts used in the class bypass. Was it online deal or were you able to pick up local.

    If you don't feel comfortable sewing a new piece in , I would take it an car seat cover place and have them repair the section. 84 VR 120k brought back from the dead.

    You were right i got my top and bottom mixed but the part was the one i needed. I ended up getting em all from nwvintage out or Oregon. Rebuilt em Sta night installed this morning and promptly went on a 200 mile loop and got stuck twice in thunderstorms... But I did stop for Ice Cream. I got a lot of information from the posts on here and this site is invaluable. Thanks to all

    Hey guys in a jam on part # 3JJ-23125-00-00 metal slide 1 Really want to finish getting the bike together this weekend, its the only time I have... with work. But if anybody has a spare or knows who has one in stock that I can get shipped next day or such. I am in Pittsburgh PA , Any help appreciated. Bags

    Well, mine has 120k as it sits, new engine with 15k. And after this weekends (last weekend I hope) I plan on it lasting another 50k. 84 VR 120k brought back from the dead.

    If I wasn't ironing new tires, rebuilding a caliper, changing out the fork fluid, adjusting the steering knuckle, greasing splines, and drive fluid Exchange..... I would be there... I might even do a little wet sand. But hopefully after this weekend I will be good to go. 84 VR 120k brought back from the dead.

    I'm only 41, and had my share of crotch rockets.. first ride I was sold, ample power and agility (less brakes). Besides a quick ride on a buddies cbr I will be sticking with the comfort of my VR. 84 VR 120k brought back from the dead.

    Ok got the ignition cover fleabay , There were several of those. Any help on the upper dash vent would be greatl. Can't find that anywhere.... Cycle yards local got nothing but frames. 84 VR 120k brought back from the dead.
