    I checked out the sit and found it to be some what lacking.Not much info there.I was hoping someone here might have fist hand experence with them.

    Torbleau trikes out of wisconsin? Does anyone own one? There is a 2005 RSV with this kit in Texas.For $15995.00

    I removed mine,so I could install a voyager trike kit.Easy to do,you will need stock links and stock brake bracket.Very cheep on pinwall.they have a bunch of them.some folks here may have what you are looking for.Thats where I got my links.I can't believe how much it improved the handling when on 2 wheels, by going back to stock.The lowering kit turns the rsv into a wallowing beast.jmo

    To bad you all don't have an understanding wife like mine.I tell her i need something for the bike and she always says go for it....Then a funny thing happens with in 24 hours of recieving my shinny new safty parts.seems it remind her of some shinny new piece of jewlery she just has to have.says it's safty bling!

    The bolt problem as been around since the first "99" RSV hit the street.I bought my "99" last year.apparently the previous owner and the dealer he used,never opened the fairing or if they did never noticed that the windshield was held in with only two bolts. I'm amazed that it never fell off he bike.The problem is the same at any kind of dealership,be it motorcycles or lawn tractors,wich is the business I'm in.The set up guy is ussually a part time seasonal person with little or know experence. In most cases they don't give a darn if its right or not.They are there for the paycheck and nothing more.It sucks,but thats reality.

    My wife was the same way.On her first ride,wich was just around the block.She was so scared,she held her breath darn near the whole time.I had to keep telling her to breath.From then on,the more she rode the more she liked it.Now i can't go anywhere with out her.She loves it and I injoy having her be part of it all. So hang in there,and injoy the ride.

    YOUR HOOKED! THE RSV WILL DO THAT TO YOU.AND YES THE STOCK BRAKES SUCK.GO TO THE EBC'S AS SOON AS YOU CAN.BETTER STOPPING AND NO NOISE.ALSO DON'T FORGET...THE MORE CHROME THE SAFEER THE BIKE.GOOD LUCK WITH YOUR RIDE.

    I have the kit on my scoot,and this is not an issue.I have never lost traction on any road conditions.Now off road would be a problem.But why would anyone want to go off road with a touring bike? I did have some issues with progressive insurance,because the girl That I talked to didn't have a clue what a trike kit was.I had to ask for a supervisor.They added as an accessory.

    If it sounds like the space car in the jetson's cartoon,then it's the clutch.Wouldn't it bee cool if we could put this clutch in a Victory Vision? Then if would sound just like it looks:crackup:Is that what it sounds like?

    I'm on my second rear end,not because of whine.but I can tell you that I still have the same whine as before the change.The whine is in the clutch basket on most of these bikes.

    OK, carb tune is done. Now I,m sitting here watching swamp people. wunder if I'd be any good at alligator hunting.

    See told you they know it all. NOW, BUY THE BIKE! By the way where did you find this bike? Cause there is a 07 with 13000 miles on it up here in baldwinsville NY for $9000.00,is it the same one?

    Don't pay attention to anything you read here.Everyone here just thinks they know what their taking about.Buy the bike it will be fine. All kidding aside,the front end shake is usually a simple fix.I had it when I bought my "99" just tighten the steering head bearing and all is well.Could all so be a tire issue.Did you test ride the bike? does this bike have a problem with the shakes?

    Well,I made the best of this rainy sunday.I took care of some maintenence on the bike,then went out to Helmet World and purchased a new mesh jacket for summer riding.NOW LETS JUST HOPE SUMMER ACCTUALLY HAPPENS THIS YEAR.

    The rain held off long enough yesterday afternoon to get a couple hours in with the new voyager kit.had to work till 2pm.but the morning wasn't all the great weather wise anyway,so it worked out ok.

    It's a great sunday here in central NY.Wife's working all day and it's raining Guess I'll tune the carb's again. ain't nothin else to do.
