I think you may have a cracked frame.It is hard to see the crack.It does not look like anything untill you take the swing arm off or know what you are looking for.With the 83 I had even with no air it sat fine with the centre and kick stands.It should be rideable with no air.I think the problem showed up when the air system went south.Please keep us posted.It is just a thought. -

I know what you are saying OldBear.I have a Honda St1100.The darn thing is so quiet I have to look at the speedo to keep myself in check.I think I am going back to a cruiser style just to make sure I dont hit the payment.When I saw at the WNY meet a guy with the same bike as mine that said on his speedo that said "Slowdown" it was not only me. I dont ride that much but the bike is tempting.I think I am moving to another 1st or 2nd Gen.

I like your idea with the hazard switch.My switch went out on my bike too.I took it apart and cleaned it.I turn signals worked again.

I tend to agree with youi about the bikes.Although the BMW is nice and fast it does not seem to have enough creature comfort for me and the passenger.If you are going to spend upwards of 25-30k ,my money is on the GW hands down.
