    Food for thought, but your 4 cyl SUV most likely has a tow rating of only 2000 lbs. That means the trailer, the hitch, cargo, and anything inside the vehicle, including passengers. If you have a front wheel drive based suv, then chances are you are going to have problems. The 4cyl suv's are typically mini van based.

    I am going to be the Guinea pig here. I plan to buy one in the next two weeks, and will write a report as to my feelings at that time. That being said, I have towed tanks and everything that weighs less than a tank, but have never towed with a bike before. So, my experience in this matter is highly limited, so at the next meet and eat, I will ask another member to try it as well.

    I bought a used trailer hitch and luggage rack off ebay that was delivered today. Unfortunately, the seller did not include the mounting bolts nor instructions. So, to my point, I called the manufacturer of the hitch and spoke to the owner. He overnighted me all the necessary hardware and detailed instructions at no charge! I paid anyway of course. Superior service from a vendor I have never done business with before. 5 Stars. He does make triple trees for the Venture as well, so I thought I would put a word out for him. http://www.xf6-custom.com/

    I will research that again, but I am almost certain that there is a federal law that requires a dealer to work on a warranty issue regardless of where you purchased it, as long as it is under manufacturer warranty. In the U.S. anyway.

    I cannot say it's a deal killer, but it does prevent me from pulling the trigger. Besides, I am happy with the Valkyrie, and I have the title in hand!!
