Hey All, Man do I enjoy all the Great People on this site. I had a Great Time at Freebirds Maintance Day, getting to meet and talk with everyone. Wish I could have stayed an extra day, but as fantastic and smooth as the RSV is, I was terribly sore from the 300+ miles each way, and had to double my pain medication when I arrived home and hurt for the next two days. Previously I have never been sore from riding the RSV any distance, so my long rides may be limited. The RSV is by far the Best Bike I have ever owned, way better than the new addition. For several months I have been tinkering with selling my Baby, the Beautiful Raspberry & Sandstone 03 RSV. It really, really shocked me when the Wife said "we can keep the RSV and use it for long two up riding", considering we just bought another bike, it even made my day. But in reality, because of my Injuries I cannot handle the weight two up, solo yes and struggle a little, but not two up. So with full regret I have listed the 03 RSV in the Classifieds. I hope you all will keep me on, as I will still have the VentureRiders.org Patch on my Vest, no matter what I ride. Talk to you Later-Red Ryder

Hey All, Since my hunting accident last fall, and third time breaking my back, I have been worried about the weight of the RSV, especially two up. After looking at several models of Yamaha, Harley, Kawasaki, etc. I kept comming back to what Fit me the best, and I felt most comfortable on handling two up. I went to the dark side, a 08 Heritage Softail, 105 year edition, with 1679 miles. I still have the 03 RSV and was able to ride solo to Freebirds MD , so I am getting a bit stronger, but did struggle a few times. I like both bikes, each has their own benifits, but will admit I am still partial to the RSV. Only have the website picture of the 08 Heritage for now. Talk to you all Later-Red Ryder

Hey All, Yesturday my youngest son Matt-age 24, came over for a Father-Son Day, we try to do this at least once a month. Matt is looking for a buddy pack deal on two four wheelers and a Yamaha 650. After Breakfeast we went 15 miles west to the next town, a Yamaha Dealer (our town only has a Harley Dealer), three cars pulled in at same time. But, I forgot they were closed on Wed. So we went 20 miles further west to the next town's Yamaha Dealer, people were getting back in their cars and other cars pulling in, but doors locked and sign said "Now Closed on Tue. & Wed". Didn't matter, we was having fun talking and seeing sights. So we headed east 75 miles across state to see my oldest son, Jimmy. Afterwards went to another Yamaha Dealer, you guessed it CLOSED, and again cars in parking lot and people looking in windows. On the way home stopped by the Harley-Davidson Dealer to look around, and Yes they were Open! Matt really liked the Fatboy. I am not sure how many Four Wheelers, Bikes, and Part Sales these Yamaha Dealers Lost by being Closed, but COME ON-WAKE UP!!!! Matt and I still had a Great Time hanging out together, but now I know why there are so many Harley Davidson's on the road. Later-James

Cool Bud, Glad you didn't get in any trouble over it. Thought for sure the Po Po would need to make extra money for the county and press charges. This is your Lucky Break. Talk Later-

Hey, we all know Insurance Companies are one of the Richest Companies in the world. So it is just a matter of time before they Pay Off the right people to pass laws in all States. Michigan Insurance is horrible, and with all the lay offs here, peoples credit scores have gone way down. Insurance Companies charge thousands more on Credit Risk, Not Driving Records, but because your credit score is low, and the Govenor of Michigan supports the Insurance Companies for Discriminating on Credit Scores, (you know she gets a money pie kick back hidden in some foreign account). Why do you think they have so much trouble trying to pass a uniform Health Insurance Bill. The Insurance Companies would loose Billions, so they keep paying off the right Congressmen so Bills won't pass, and screw the hardworking american people that barly get by. Just my 2 cents. Later-

Hey, Harley is supposed to have a liquid cooled bike. It originally was to come out in 2010, now probably not till 2011 or 2012. But the pictures I have seen of it reminds me of some british bikes in the 60's. As far as Yamaha, don't expect to much other than maybe a few deleted models or color changes. Would be nice to see a newly revamped RSV, but I wouldn't hold my breath. Have Fun, Later-

Hey Don, the bike looks Great, thou it took awhile it was worth the wait. Your mechanic did a excellent job. Looks like you will have many fun days ahead of you. Even enough room for a fishing pole and tackle box, my kind of bike. Talk to you soon, Later-James

What, no pictures of how you re-routed them. #1 Rule, any upgrades requires a picture. Well, maybe not, come to think of it, I haven't take any either. Glad it worked out. Later-

HELP!! Missing Child (my step son was abducted)!!!
Red Ryder replied to ArticusMedicus's topic in Watering Hole
Hey Art, I will keep my eye out in case he comes North. Prayers are with you all. Later- Oh, Thank God, they caught him and your son is okay. Talk soon- -
Our Prayers are sent for Vic and for Barb. Jack it takes a real friend to help when one is down. Good job letting us know, so we can ask the Good Lord for his guiding hand during surgery and to help heal. Later-James & Charlene

Hey Herb, Been a couple years but I had a job offer at a Victory Dealer. Did my homework to learn their products and Reviews by Current Owners. Most liked the handling at slow speeds, but they Really Disliked when passing a semi, said it was horrible no matter where the windshield was for rider or passenger, just blew you all around at any speed passing. Other than that most thought the bike was okay. Overall satisfaction, most said they would have rather bought something else for the money. I like all bikes, would own one of each if I had the money. But when I researched all the bikes out there, the RSV kept comming out on top. Good Luck with your choice Herb, Later-

Hey Art, that is a Great Idea, a Michigan International Rally at the end of August. Usually dry weather at that time. Just make it work people will come. Find out how much to camp, local motel prices, food, etc. Never been to that track, but heard it is awsome. Later-
