One of my thoughts for a retirement job for few hrs was Warden and I both at one of the large Motels. We could do it togather and make a few bucks. I have no Idea what my Credit score is. Have never had it checked. I did my dealing with people I had used for years. Was never turned down. Maybe i should check it one of these days.

1st gen sidestand switch removal
Yammer Dan replied to mother's topic in Venture and Venture Royale Tech Talk ('83 - '93)
Rode for a lot of years and when mine went out last year and I jumpered it I couldn't remember to put sidestand up at all. Ask those at Ashville. I had gotten too used to the switch reminding me. With the boards on it you don't see the sidestand sticking out there. Mine is almost hidden. I'll keep the switch!! -

I named her "Ugly" the first time I saw her. She had about 1/4 inch of dust on that brown and she was "UGLY" I have another switch. I got in a hurry when I changed it and didn't check switch i put on. Should have made sure it was working good before I changed it. But wanted to go riding.

Got "Ugly" out to burn out the old gas today. Ran Great!! I didn't want to come back. But started home and stopped to fill back up about a mile above my house. Where I'm well known!! Filled her up and she drew some lookers of course. Told them she was 25 yrs old and ran good. Started her up dropped her into 1st. And she quit. Laughed and tried her again. Fired right up after the slow turn thing. Dropped her into gear . And she quit!!! Had to push her out of the way and play with sidestand switch a little and off I go... I have greased that thing, replaced it, greased it and I guess I'll do it again!! She could have picked a better spot. Friend??? offered push when she was cranking slow.. But still GREAT RIDE!!

I wanted to make this one but things have been upside down around here.

I wipe them off good with tissue before I install them. Touching them will cause them to blow.

Sorry to hear of your loss. I don't think there is a way to make the ones that don't care look.

Several ways they can go togather and work. And some that they won't work at all. I had done a bunch of them before I put one back in and it wouldn't work. Wasn't my bike and I was stumped. Had to call Squidley. Just watch the notches when you take out and put them back same place. -
Took Laptop with her I thought. HEY ANNIE??? Where are you???

Made me think of mine Boo. My first "big" bike was a 67 Bonnie 650. Great old bike. Girls liked it. Wiring was crappy but when it went it did good. And with the wiring you could make it quit when you wanted to.
