Daughter and I are riding from Bremen to Chatanooga Sat. Gonna hit Ruby Falls and maybe stay downtown near the river. I've heard a bout a boat cruise at night? Anyone familiar?

Sory to hear about the crash. Hope you get healed up fast! Might have to do some rethinking on buying that trailer?

Ok, just installed the new venoms! can't wait to try them out! What pressures everyone running? I do a lot of two up riding. Also, load limits just under 900#? Kinda light for an 875# bike?

While changing out the tires on the bike, noticed the rear pads are shot. They were EBC's? Only had 5200 miles on them. Last set I used were Streetexcel and got 10k outta them? Is this typical? I do belives in throttle control with rear braking, but half the mileage?

Total maint. day today. Had the rear tire off and was cleaning the splines, but unsure how to get into the areas in the wheel where the splines go??????????? Found out that a 20 gauge shotgun brass bore brush works great on the end of a drill! Bought at Wally World for a buck and a half. Inserted on the end of my cordless and the brush cleaned out the holes super fast! I think I'll keep a cpl. in my tool box!

Anyone have any experince with the Pass. highway pegs. We're using the bike more and more for vacations and the wife would like to be able to stretch her legs a bit. Any isues with them? They look as if they would interfer with your legs if you were stopped, just standing up holding the bike? Thansk!

After reading ALOT of previous posts here, I decided to get rid of my Dunlop 404's (both sets of rears got about 7500) and am replacing with Venoms. Saw that most perfered Moto for their tires, free shipping but American Tire beat their free shipping price. Moto wanted 257.90 122.95 for the front and 134.95 for the rear. American wanted 109.60 for the front and 126.33 for the rear with 13 for shipping so saved a few bucks Will let ya kow how long they take to ship! Looking forward to trying out the Avons!

Just got back from the Smoke Out 9 in N. Carolina. I know I read somewhere here that rear shocks will not bottom out? We hit a few dips on I-85 coming home, and with the bike packed and the OL and I, I swear it bottomed out twice, hard! Parked the bike in the garage after the 400 mile trip home and I have a pretty good wet spot right under the rear, lower shock mount? Called Yamastealer and they want $485.00 just for the shock. Anyone know of a less expensive option? thanks!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I'm looking at either at a tank bag or bib to put small items, (sunglasses, rag, etc.) for riding. Wolfman wants $99 for a magnetic bag, and haven't seen a large selection of bibs for the venture. Anyone out the have any experience with one?
