  1. I have installed 2 16 bulb led fog lights I found on Ebay for less than $20. Here is a pic but very bright and one with the lights off. Item number: 270486500001
  2. We were planning a "turducking" this year but my lame neighbor didn't get a duck. He is still out pheasant huntin.... we thought about the turkey, pheasant & chicken but couldn't tell the realtive what it was called so we smoke just the turkey!! We have fried and smoked numerous turkeys. Both are excelent but smoken is far easier.
  3. I too was a late bloomer. Lots of miles on a bicycle. 15000 miles on a 10 speed in 5 years. I didn't ride my first bike untill college (a 350 of unkown make) and rode about 250 miles total in 4 years. After that I rode an 800 for about 20 miles in the early 80's. In 2007 I rode my first dirt bike around a friends acreage for a day. That was it, I bought a V-Star 650 in 2008 and in May of 2009 bought the RSV. I have logged about 4000+ miles on the RSV and love it. By the way, I am 49. Very late bloomer.
  4. I wnet out for a ride today. 38 deg when I left and 40 deg upon return. I rode with the PGR group with mostly HD's. No noise from my bike couse I could only hear the HD's. In fact, I could not hear that I killed mine on start cause I did not hear the revs. An what is it with reving the HD's in the tunnels and overpasses? I could barley hear the radio.
  5. Try a fishing rod tube or similar!!!!
  6. I just drove a 2009 school bus and it had an AM/FM cassette deck installed from the factory. I didn't bring any casssetes to try it out!!!

The food was good and the conversation enlightening. The weather for us was hot hot hot even the whole way home (east). Great pics too. Thanks again and hope to see you soon!!! Wayde
  12. Got my frame today. Look great. Now to install and light up! Thanks Randy!
  13. Ditto that he's alright. Here is the lesson to be learned if he didn't from this episode. My buddy drove his RSV drunk. Ended up with broken hip, back, ribs and ruptured kidney. 3 months in the hospital, 6 months of rehab and no bike to ride. Plus a DUI, court appearances and fees. This happened 2 years ago.
  14. Great! Where and what time? I (maybe we) will be there. Early weather forcast for us is 84* and sunny. So should be a nice day to ride for us on the east side. Looking forward to it:banana:

  21. Just got back from a short 150 mile round trip ride to visit daughter. Perfect weather. rained this morning but done by 8am. Partly cloudy and high 70's to low low 80's. Rode home into the sunset. Open wheat field here so slim chance of deer encounter!!!
  22. Same here. Great discussion and sounds like a great product. Will try in bike and cars. Thanks for the info!!!
  23. Also very interested. I run higher powered amber fogs on my jeep year round (when needed) on my cage. Gives back lost visual depth. Great idea for the bikes!!
