I had a Voyger kit on my Burgman scooter and loved it. The 1st thing I would do if you have not already is check to see that your insurance company will cover it! The little green lizard and several others WILL NOT, unless things have changed. If yours does not, call Voyager and they will tell you who will. That being said, Don't put your feet down, you WILL run over them. Steering will feel funny at first, because you do have to drive it. There are some front end that will make steering easier. Other 1st Gen folks may chime in on that. What others have said about watching out for dips and ruts, you will highcenter the rear wheel and have to get off and push. If you look at the Voyager website there is a video to watch. They give some tips about riding. In it they mention that the inside wheel will in a hard turn come up. I never had the courage to push it that far. That doesn't mean I "poked" around super slab on/off ramps. The Burgman center of gravity may be much lower than a 1st gen, so you will have to learn your bike. Not having a reverse, pay attention to where you park. Either park with the front wheel up hill, or let it roll down hill backwards into a parking place. One thing I REALLY liked about having the kit is that I could lock both front and rear wheel and the Burgman (at least) would slide arrow straight. One thing I did not like was that tire wear was faster. Since you will not be leaning, you will wear the rear tire flat across the middle (HMMM, Darkside consideration?). On the Burgman at least the front tire not only wore on the middle but cupped somewhat too. I changed both at about 10,000 miles. Main thing is get to know YOUR bike and enjoy!!!

The LED tail light should have been a quick install, but somewhere in my bikes past someone over tightened the screws for the lens and pulled two of the bosses out of the lens and the third one was cracked. Nothing really holding the lens on except the sticky gasket. So, get out the trusty epoxy and glue the bosses back in. After that dried, install the Radianz board. Job one finished. Now for the Stebel horn. Installed the relay on one of the bolts under the coolant recovery bottle. Removed the old right side horn and connected the old horn wires to the relay. Press the horn button to check the relay and it clicked as advertised. The factory horn behind the left fairing "clunked" meekly. Hum??? Light in my head came on, wonder if the horn I took off the right side of the bike will fit in behind the fairing? WRONG, they are completely different, but when I hooked up the "fairing horn" directly to the battery, it sounded off perfectly! Soooo, why not put it back in place and power it from the new Stebel relay????? Now all I need to do is fish a 14Ga wire under the tank. Done! Put a short 14Ga ground wire to one of the horn mounting bolts, pushed the horn button, relay clicks and the puny little horn is not so puny anymore! Now make up a "Y" connector and hook it up the the relay. Mount the Stebel air horn using the shiny Carbon_one bracket, hook it all up, push the horn button and DEY-YUM it is LOUD!!! The combination of the two horns will come close to waking the dead!!! :banana:

NAPA (Echlin) # AR274 The neat thing about this relay is it has 2 #87 terminals, one for each driving light so no "Y" connector needed. Got one in case my RSV is running the passing lights through the ignition switch. Now for the exploratory surgery...

Just 'cause the coolant gets warm enough to turn on the fan, does not necessarily mean the oil has completely "boiled off" any condensation in the crankcase or that mufflers got hot enough to dry out either.

The Electrical is not that big a deal. You will have to split the fairing and may have to pull the tank to run a main power wire from the battery. Just my preference, but I like to put the a main power fuse as close to the battery as possible, so the hot wire running under the tank is fuse protected. The greatest thing about being a grandpa is being able to spoil the grandkids and let them do things that you wouldn't let their parents do right in front of them......that really ticks them off.....plus when their cranky or miserable, you can send them home so that mom and dad has to deal with them.......remember when you told your kids NO... now you can say YES to the grandkids all the time...ITS A WONDERFUL LIFE !!!!!! :banana: Don't forget to include giving them a Mountain Dew and a Snickers 30 minutes before sending them home!!! :dancefool:

The dog bounced up on our porch about 5 years ago and said "Hi Folks I'm Home!" Undoubtedly someone threw him away, as he came completely house trained and loving everyone. The Cat was a "stray" from the neighbor's somewhat wild female that keeps the neighborhood sufficiently populated with new kittens. My granddaughter thought this one (about 6 months old) was cute and just had to have it. That was two years ago. Lemme tell ya there is almost nothing as expensive as a free cat!!! Well about 6 months later the granddaughter decides to go back to live with her mother, but the cat could not go. Imagine that...

THANKS!!! I'll be sure to check the numbers on the valve when I get it out. This was an "all of a sudden" thing. The pressure in that tire has never varied since I had it installed. This would not have been a fun thing if it had dropped the pressure while underway, at any speed!!!

Why Me??? But at least it happened in my driveway. Hopped on the RSTC to run a quick errand this afternoon and noticed it did not wanna turn out into the street. Yup, front tire was VERY low. Got the air compressor and pumped it back up. When I took the chuck off, noticed air coming out from the valve stem. It is torn just above the wheel rim. Cannot for the life of me understand what could have pushed it sideways enough to tear it. Oh well!!! As I don't have a M/C jack, just a 2-ton small floor jack anyone have suggestions on how to jack it up enough to get the front wheel off. I'm thinking about running it up on my trailer (it will hold air long enough to do this) where I can tie it off in the rear to hold it upright, then using a 2X4 under the engine to lift the front wheel.
