  1. Definitely looks like waaayyyy tooooo much work. Got to have a motor on it for some real fun:banana: Later, Scooter Bob
  2. Ya Jeff, That was my first guess too. The mice have a smorgasbord now. Not sure about the rabbits though. Do they eat the mouse pellets????? Later, Scooter Bob
  3. It's been a month and a half now... Ok folks, Here's the deal....I plan on riding from here to Daytona, leaving out on the 24th, weather permitting (ie.. no snowstorms or icestorms along the way). If I make the beach, and nobody has scored the target yet, I'll break the rules and score my own target, and then set a new one. You got a week and a half guys, let's play Later, Scooter Bob The current target still is.... You and your bike with a beach in the background. Prefer warm and sunny with sand and blue water, but so everyone can play, I will settle for hard water and snow covered sand as well. Have fun with it... BONUS...I'll buy you a beer at the international if you're wearing your (or anybody else's) swimming suit. by Scooter Bob
  4. :cold:I've been making plans to ride down to Daytona Bike Week. My biggest concern was getting out of Wisconsin, I hadn't planned on having to wear my snowmobile suit all the way there. Anybody want to buy my snowmobile??? Barely enough snow around here to ride it... For those that hardly ever see it, Get out in it and have some fun. Make some snow angels, a snow man, a fort, etc... Later, Scooter Bob
  5. They can park it here and ride down with me! I've always wanted to go, just to say I've been there, but am not into the trailer thing. So I think this is the year. I'll take two weeks off work, just in case of bad weather. I'll put on my snowmobile suit and ride straight south till it gets warmer, then head east. Go to Daytona, buy a couple "T" shirts, camp a couple days, and head back. Should be fun.... I hope.... Later, Scooter Bob PS, I wish your cousins the best of times, and enjoy the ride.
  6. I wish I could think of a new target that would make the snow melt in IL. ....Cuz I want to play again! Later, Scooter Bob The current target still is.... You and your bike with a beach in the background. Prefer warm and sunny with sand and blue water, but so everyone can play, I will settle for hard water and snow covered sand as well. 7. Have you seen the cup holder from http://www.barefootwillies.com/ ? It mounts solid, and close in. I've had one for 4 years now and no problems. Later, Scooter Bob
  8. You bet, problem solved! Later, Scooter Bob
  9. I can wear it for another 20 years or so!!! Later, Scooter Bob PS, Freebird, this could be worse than a political thread, not!!!
  10. Put about 45 miles on this afternoon. They postponed the 3 hour enduro motorcycle race on the local lake because of too much water on the lake. Can't blame them. It was 30 degrees colder when they did it last year, but they weren't going to be wet. I've been fighting my couple times a year lower back problems (had part of a disc taken out in 95). The one thing that always seems to fix it is get on the bike and ride. And it seems too have worked again, Later, Scooter Bob:) Can't resist.. Scooter Bob... who thinks that 1/2 gallon of gas is much cheaper than a chiropractor appointment
  11. 8:10 left in the 4th 1/4, 28-21, go Saints, save my T shirt. Later, Scooter Bob
  12. I've stayed at a few of them, back in my HD days.... You may have missed out on the old, used towels they gave me to keep the oil off their parking lot! Later, Scooter Bob
  13. Later, Scooter Bob
  14. Is that so those first genners have evidence of just how fast they really are??? :whistling:Later, Scooter Bob
  15. Lucky You!! It's supposed to hit 40 today, but it's pouring now, and supposed to turn to snow later. I was hoping for a short ride to the "Boat House" this afternoon. They have a 3 hour endurance motorcycle race on the lake there today. Tried to take the truck out last year, and couldn't find a place to park within a half mile of the bar. Thought if I took the bike, I could sneak it into a little spot up close. Later, Scooter Bob The current target is.... You and your bike with a beach in the background. 17. It's not Green, but I did find it while out riding up in your corner of our state, in Barronette, WI. Had the shovelhead loaded down for a week long trip. I saw that and the now x-wife said we didn't have room for it anywhere. When she went to the can, I bought it and stuffed it inside my jacket for the rest of the week. Scooter Bob...... who says if you just have to have it, you can find room for it. But, at least you have football to watch yet... Later, Scooter Bob
  18. I just hope they don't cause me to throw out my favorite anti-viking "T" shirt, that I've had for 15 years, and wear two or three times a year, just for the Packer vs Viking games. Later, Scooter Bob
  19. I set the current target, and since DynoDon and I have been the only ones playing lately, :stickpoke:and we both have been under snow for 7 weeks, I had to include the snow covered:snow2: beach and hard water. Thanks for the plug on the hunt Don. Join in guys and have some fun! Later, Scooter Bob
  20. pktexas, Excellant write up. The biggest reason I've never installed heated grips is I, too, have been afraid the wires on the throttle side would break after constant twisting. I have many friends that have them and it hasn't been a problem though. The price on that unit you picked out is pretty reasonable, not going to break the bank if the wire does break sometime and you have to replace it. Are the left and right sides interchangable? Thanks again for the job well done. You've got me thinking about getting mine heated up. And that is also a really nice looking switch box as well. Later, Scooter Bob
  21. If it's covered with snow, I could be led to believe there is sand underneath it! Can you get it posted by noon along with a new target? Later, Scooter Bob The current target is.... You and your bike with a beach in the background. Prefer warm and sunny with sand and blue water, but so everyone can play, I will settle for hard water and snow covered sand as well. 22. You gonna get this today, so I have a new target for tomorrow, seeing as how we have this heat wave! Later, Scooter Bob The current target is.... You and your bike with a beach in the background. Prefer warm and sunny with sand and blue water, but so everyone can play, I will settle for hard water and snow covered sand as well. 23. Your Score is 24 Congratz, you Pass! You should be proud. I've been out of history class for too long I guess, I did pretty bad on the specific ammendment stuff. Fun though, Scooter Bob
  24. Glad you enjoyed the ride. I read your other thread about the bike. I had a 99 classic b4 the RSV. It was a good bike, and I put a little over 50k on it, but if I'd a kept it another year, I would have had to replace belt and pulleys. The thoughts of a break down were taking some of the fun out of riding, if you know what I mean. If you can get over the cassette deck thing, you really need to try a second gen, you'll have the room you're looking for and a more reliable ride. Just my $.02. Ya, Karen just about fell on her a$$ when she got out of the truck to take the picture. Later, Scooter Bob The next target is....
  25. Me and one other guy went for the annual New Year's Ride at Noon on Jan 1. It got all the way up to 18 degrees:cold:. Enjoy your ride though....
