  1. Had a great day! enjoyed the ride, enjoyed the great company. Lunch was at a new place. Pretty warm by the time we got home.
  2. 195 Km is 121 mph. still covering a lot of road real fast!
  3. It is quite a shock to open a prayers requested post and find that your friends are indeed being themselves - a lot of very caring folks! I just got home from the hospital this afternoon, less my gall bladder. I hope that fixes the problem. Thanks to everyone for making this a special place to learn about bikes but just as important a place where people do still care about people! Humbeled, Kelly Wilson
  4. Dont waste the band width looking on the internet site, just go outside and look yours. Anything after 1999 will do!
  5. Glad you made it safe this year! I still working on the iron butt 1000 maybe some time in the next couple months. I'll let you know if looks like I can work something out. 1000 miles would be like a ride around the block for you.
  6. Thanks for the update. Our family checks daily for updates. We will continue to pray!
  7. Beki and I will be praying. Please let us know if we can do anything. Brad thanks for the updates.
  8. I bought a complete set that I purchased off Ponch's bike a couple years ago. Brackets, clamps everything to mount. Ran them for about 6 months love the sound around town but on road trips the sound got to the wife and I so i went back stock. I'll part with the full set for $75 plus shipping.
  9. Glad to hear you are doing well. We will keep praying for you.
  10. Yamaha had a huge jump in on road bike sales over 25%. So where did Honda make its growth in scooters!! Well there you go folks. Looks like Honda conered the Scooter Market while Yamaha was building MOTORCYCLES. Thats what I'm talking about. Yamaha did take a beating in the off road market.
  11. Great ride. Thanks for pulling it together, Hal. I have ridden many miles off road on motorcycles, but I really dont think I am going to challenge Brenda's stunt in the ditch. That was nothing short of a Miracle. The wind was a pain all day and night. I got home safety at about midnight after a dark windy 110 mile ride back from Caldwell after the wedding last night. I only logged about 310 miles, so even with the detour Perry had a longer day. Great ride, great food, great friends everyone home safe. Even with the wrong turns and a few inconsequential misshaps that makes a GREAT DAY!
  12. See you guys at the Shell. Beki has to get ready for a wedding so I am meeting them in College Station. I am in one way and lunch.
  13. Have done some praying will do more. Kelly
  14. Guys, I just a Mr Gasket at Pep Boys last week and installed as illistrated in Ponchs pictures. Works great! Kelly
  15. So glad to hear! Talented people always bounce back. We are glad to have you and Lonna in TX. Kelly
  16. I agree with Squig, have a friend that has a Rebel 250 she just started riding and wanted something small to learn on. Now that she is ready to move up to something she can ride with other bikes she can not sell it to anyone. Not fast enough to be safe on the freeway or highway so she is stuck to side streets and the money for a 650 is about the same, I have owned about everything from a mini-enduro 60 to my RSV and never had a road bike to big or a dirt bike to light.
  17. Loading and dragging pipes on a street turn off a red light about 350 lbs. Helped with 30 psi in the shock but still drug on my driveway and some others.
  18. My bike had the rear only lowered when I bought it. Road it that way for about 6000 miles road ok, little hard to turn, but it hit the pipes 2 up and loaded, which is how I ride a lot. When I changed the rear tire I went back stock, works better for me, handles better at slow speed and does not drag. I am a 33" inseam and yes it is taller. Lots of people like them lowered and I would think doing both ends would be better. I have the links and the bracket to relocate the brake caliper. PM me if you are interested. Kelly
  19. I still have more Fajita Meat including some Beef for you Kbay, the bike is running great, finally got to ride Sat (in the rain). By the way thanks to and Don for the help the other day enjoyed the company and work. Also the Beki asked why I did not use the onions, peppers and cheese oops. Kelly
  20. Encouragement and prayers Kelly and Beki
