here is a link to the National Ride for Dad Website , with the Kinston and Ontario map and info. The Ride for Dad is doing a Canadian Coast to Coast Ride to raise funds for Prostate Cancer, stopping in cities inviting riders to join in wherever they can to raise funds and awareness. A cool idea to do a National Ride!! http://www.ridefordadanniversary.org/en/route_ottawavalleystage.asp Brian

you seemed to find out real quick that Jack is a great guy with some great stories, but you have to bribe him with ice cream sometimes. So did he bring the G1 or G2 bike to meet you, we G1 riders are wondering if he is totally over to the darkside yet or whether we can still get him some therapy to help him out. So did Jack manage ta get you recruited to help out with the proposed Western Intl Rally? Brian

What part of Canada do u want to visit? we are a bigger country than the US. If youre just jumping the border into Ontario theres lots to see from Niagara Falls, to SeaWorld to a Blue Jays game . if you want to go a bit farther, try Montreal in Quebec, it is a great city in summer, with lots to see and do there that feels so European because of the French speaking population. You will need a passport to get back into the US. once youre here youre country wants to make sure everyone needs a darn passprt. Brian

I just heat up some water and fill an empty plastic coke bottle with it and throw one bottle in the the bottom of each sleeping bag. it will keep you warm for hours in a sleeping bag. its nothing extra to carry on a bike, theres always plastic bottles around after a long days ride... Brian

Carb Problem
friesman replied to colchubbs's topic in Venture and Venture Royale Tech Talk ('83 - '93)
Ive found that after using a lot of seafoam it frequently fouls the plugs. I guess all that varnish and crap from the carbs had to end up somewhere. Brian -

I do have a new Pioneer cd/mp3 with usb port and ipod port already mounted into a side panel and with the ends of bikes wires neatly cut so it should be easy to rewire it into another bike. It comes with the weatherproof cover. It is barely used, I installed it and then found that I missed the speed variable sound and the handlebar mounted mute and station change so I changed it back. If you are interested pm me and Ill send you some more info. Brian

I know its in Here on the VR site somewhere, but a friends site is bookmarked so I will send you to Scotts delusional mechanic site. Its a lot of fun, but he does know his stuff. The link I am sending also shows how to set up an mp3 player. http://www.scienceman.com/dm/pages/gps.html Brian

Has anyone tried this, and what makes it different from regular gasoline? According to what I am reading it doesnt get stale and its legal to store in your vehicle, so what makes it different? Other than the highly inflated price? http://sparefuel.net/ Brian

Went to an appt this morning and things are looking good so far, its just that darn bubble in the eye that keeps screwing up my vision in the left eye but that is sposed to be normal..... Brian
