  2. Terry, we also had always wanted to see this museum and never managed to make it until a meet and greet finally worked out for us. Great place, great time with good :bighug:friends. Glad we got to see it before it was too late. Wanted to take our grandson but time never worked out for us.

  15. Rick, if you are going to ride I-75 from Michigan, to Knoxville. Take 129 to Maryville, then 321 to Townsend. Stay there,and ride the Foothills Pkwy to the Dragon, about 30 miles. Do the Dragon, then back to Townsend. A side trip just down the road is Great Smokey Mountain National park. Great roads to ride there, and a beautiful area. Then ride back to I-75 up to Michigan.

  19. Glad you made it home with no incidents!!! Do yourself a favor, if you don't have a radiator cover check the fins of the radiator. I got caught in a hail storm, and when I got home I looked the bike over absolutely no damage.. I dropped the rag I was wiping the bike with. As I bent down to pick it up, I looked at the radiator. Bunch of the fins were bent. I spent 2hrs.combing it out. I got one of Steve Wagner's radiator covers
  20. I found a receiver piece , made the gussets and welde it together Painted with the undercoating finish
  21. I went to the local paint store "Finish Masters" They use a hand held computer hold it against the original paint and it matches it. The colors are almost a perfect match. (It still looks good)!
  22. I thought those 1st.Gens were too fast for that to happen!
