  3. Here's the link to the Maintenance day info. Have fun and be safe on your trip. Oh and Skydoc may just be going to MD so you might get to go along with him. Plus they'll be plenty of other folks heading that way. http://www.venturerider.org/forum/showthread.php?t=41934 Margaret

  6. Glad it all turned out ok and congrat's on the newest edition. It'll be hard on your daughter if she actually leaves before the baby does. Just remind her that he's gonna be fine and be home soon. Oh and stay safe during this nasty storm on the way. She may end up stuck at the hospital a while anyway if the storm is as bad as they say it's gonna be. Margaret
  7. We actually have quite a few members with diabetes. Doesn't seem to affect the amount of riding they do. Just remember to take your equipment with you, meters and meds and you should be fine. Margaret
  8. Ok Ron time for a pep talk here I guess. How would you handle one of your guys feeling bad about having this happen? They would tell you how bad they feel like they are letting you down. You would tell them there isn't anything they can do about what happened right? Must be a reason this happened you just don't know why yet. So just take care of that shoulder and Kelli's ankle. Margaret
  9. Well it's a little late for her trip back home, but before she leaves to go back to school give her a list of us folks down this way. For the just in case situations. I know I can speak on behalf of the folks in VA, NC, and SC to let you know that she can get help or a place to stay if the weather is iffy on her way home as well. Hope all continues to go well for you daughter and the baby. Sounds like most likely a c section unless they can get the cord to come undone. Margaret
  10. He had a third kid so he had to slow down Charlie. Margaret
  11. Well then get that party started. I guess we'll be seeing you at plenty of the get together's then this year. Like Maintenance Day at Don's? I mean you are retired and have nobody to answer to. So I'm counting on meeting you face to face in June. Oh and if you need it "That's an order." Margaret
  12. Prayers sent, just try and keep her calm. Is this there first child? Thinking nothing but good thoughts from here as well. Margaret
  13. Well congrat's if that's appropriate. Enjoy the new life and ya know we're all here if you need us. Sometimes ya just have to do what makes you happy. Now ya need to a bit these folks are getting slack around here. Margaret
  14. So sorry to hear that Annie. You take good care of that leg, we want to hear you're all healed up. Sorry about the heat, we got some cold here if you'd like it. I'd be more then happy to send it to ya. Margaret

  16. Ask and ye shall receive. Oh Phil in PA says more winter but Lee in Atlanta says no. This link tells ya the story of how this all started. http://www.stormfax.com/ghogday.htm Margaret
  17. Well Phil up in PA says 6 more weeks of winter, Lee in Atlanta says not. So I'm going with Lee I like his prediction better. Margaret
  18. Well were just glad that you'll be all better soon enough. Now give Lewis a hard time gotta keep that man on his toes. :crackup:Ok I'm just joking. I hope your recovery goes faster then you think and you're in very little pain. Looking forward to getting to see you up and about this year. Maybe even riding on the bike? Margaret
  19. I was wondering that myself. It seemed like 2 weeks already to me. Margaret
  20. That's so sad, at least the poor baby isn't suffering. Always hard to lose them no matter how it happens. Margaret
  21. Well glad to hear this. Now you're hard work starts, when she starts to feel much better and wants to do everything. Good luck! Hope her recovery goes as swiftly and smoothly as it has so far. Margaret
  22. Well now it looks like he'll be staying where he is, but the crew he's been with is going to head over. It's getting very confusing all this moving around, I really thought he'd get to one place and stay. I mean he does work on the helicopters, ya think they'd want those guys in one place. They aren't infantry, they aren't allowed guns. Oh Charlie I think all the old Vodka bottles are probably long gone over there. Military has been there a while. Margaret
  23. Oh Lilly is adorable. She's so tiny (for now). I love puppies, just hate the potty training I always have to do that. Enjoy her when she gets home, I'm sure she'll have you both trained in no time. Margaret
  24. I'm with David, heck we're the same age too. Anyway yeah you are that young. My daughter has been out of high school OH MY GOD a little less time then you. Now I really feel old. Margaret
  25. Well we got about 5" and some ice, sleet, freezing rain (whatever it was). Gonna be all frozen tonight. I don't like snow much, glad I live here where I don't have to deal with it much. Came south to get away from it. Can't wait for it all to melt. Margaret
