Was wondering if anyone has had experience on this issue? Seems like the touch screen wont work too well with riding gloves on. Was also wondering if the wheel controls on the nano and/or classic are big enough to use with gloves on? I searched the threads and it looks like the ipods are working for people, but wasn't sure on the controls. Would appreciate any help/thoughts. Thanks. Bob

Anyone live near Dover Oh? I would love to go there sometime to see the Warther Carving Museum. It's just something I'm interested in since I do woodworking. I would like to plan a trip there sometime, and I'm wondering what else is there to see or do in the area.

Picked up a 1999 RSV about a month ago and have been slowly learning about it. I am considering either the Stage 1 Exhaust Mod or the Bub Sleepers and was wondering if anyone in the Dallas area has either that I could hear first hand. Also, it would be nice to meet other RSV owners in the area.

Would anyone be interested in something like this? Guess I should be a little more specific. I'm checking into having a bunch of these made & was wondering if there would be enough here to warrant it.

I have read most of the threads on swapping antennaes on 2nd generations. I was wondering if anyone has taken their CB to a trucker CB shop to see if they could be boosted like a regular CB for output, clarity and range? I know the range isn't that far and was wondering if it could be increased.

I did my diaphragms today- 3 were holy! Like holy crap, batman! After my second tank of gas netted me only 30mpg, I got busy reading. I jumped in and removed my diaphragms today. The first had no holes, and I was wondering if I had needed to buy the kit as recommended from Sirius Consolidated Inc. as advised by you guys here on 1st gen. posts. But the second, third and fourth cylinders all had multiple breaches. My slider jets did not have the white washer, but had multiple places on the body where you could move the cir-clip, and thus the mixture, up or down. As one post by member Bobcat mentioned his BMW had this feature, and you can lean it out by moving it up a notch. I did this to all the sliders, and I have not road tested it yet but it runs fine. I'm wondering if someone put a set of old carbs on my 1987? I look forward to adding a crankcase breather (tips , anyone?) like i read about here, and checking my mileage. I have to say thanks to all that helped- especially "5bikes". I would not have had the courage to break into the carbs without the input and guidance of this group.

I am looking at meeting Laura Sat evening over in Cleveland, Tn on her way back from Gulf Shores/Birmingham, AL. I am thinking about leaving early in the morning(before 5am) and swinging thru Vogal for a visit. As part of this, I am wondering if there will be the usual get together in Blairsville for breakfast. If so, I might try to time it to meet up there first. I would appreciate any feedback. RandyA

Ok this doesn't make sense to me but I don't know much about motorcycles. My volt gauge reads right at 12 volts but if while cruising down the road I keep slight upward pressure on the shift pedal it reads higher:confused: I guess I will just adjust the pedal so it always sits in that possition but I was wondering why it would do that? Also another issue with the kill switch. If I put any pressure on the switch it kills it. And I don't mean it the up direction that is supposed to kill it, I mean if it is down and running if I push down more on it it dies. If I relase the pressure its fine. It's not a big deal because if I don't touch it it's fine I was just wondering if that means the switch is going bad and should be replaced so it doesn't cause a problem in the future.

Hi, I am from Newfoundland Canada and I am having a problem finding a couple of parts, I recently blew a rear wheel bearing on my 05 RSV, it has been in the shop since the 7th of July, I just received a call telling me the parts are on back order till the 17th of Aug, I was wondering if anyone could help me out in locating these two parts 2H7253150000 (Flange) 903872008H00 (Collar) Thanks Red Knight

I took a few guys on a ride today and the sky opened up. We made it home just in time before it rained. For the next two hours I had the nicest garage in town. The bikes are warm and dry and the people are out in the rain. The next best thing to riding is eating. I think the boss (wife in the second pic) is wondering if she can get her car in. My money is on................... no. My son woke up and looked in the garage and thought be died and went to haven.

Ok, just wondering, if a trailer is older than 3 years, had not been used much, would you still replace the tires regardless of the good tread left? Just wondering, thinking about an older trailer in good condition, just concerned about the tire age.

I've read the previous posts regarding the Ride On tire protection system and have seen the good comments. Just wondering if anyone here has ever experienced any problems with the product?

I have at my disposal an 80 acer piece of land ( Baja MX Millington MI ) use satellite view and zoom in. http://maps.google.com/maps?hl=en&q=baja+mx&ie=UTF8&near=mi&f=l&split=1 After talking to the owner of the track they are open to the idea of hosting a rally/get together on their property. We could offer a large community bon-fire at night, as well as individual camp/cooking fires, swimming pond, port-a-lets (clean), Movies at night (outside, drive in style) via projection TV and a DVD player on a 12'x12' screen, A concession stand for lunch ( burgers, hot dogs, Pizza, chicken strips, Fries, sodas...ect.) There is a lot of land for camping. Frankinmuth is a stones throw away, Prime outlets mall just down the road, and some nice riding in the county. I am just wondering how many folks would be interested in something like this. We could even have a trial run the last week of Aug this year if anyone was interested in just getting together with friends. What you guys think? Am I biting off more than I can chew? Art~

Has anyone put their bike on a dyno before changing pipes and than after muffler change to see HP and torque values? Just wondering if the 2 cylinder mufflers exhaust waves where any different than the 4 cylinder flow.

It seems like the answer to every engine question on this forum is either "carb sync" or "Sea Foam". My bike is running fine, but at certain speeds/RPMs it seems kinda buzzy for lack of a better word, and I can feel a vibration in the handlebars. I think it should be smoother. I was wondering if there is a kind soul in the Knoxville area who has experience with syncing carbs and wouldn't mind helping me do mine.
