I was up at another great rolling thunder this year. I saw many RSV and TD in the parade this year. I also saw the one and only 'Beer30' pulling the BeerCart. I wish I could have found him after but I couldn't. I even walked over to the ball fields where they were having everyone park. Well it was another great time and I hope to be able to make the Asheville gathering to finally meet some of the great folks here at Venturerider. Everyone Ride SAFE. theKid

I hope I made the right decision here you all. I have been searching for 2 weeks now and finally decided. I wanted to hear rumble , but not have to wear ear plugs and wanted the slash cut and easy removable baffles. I think I made the right choice. And for everyones information out there, Dennis Kirk will match prices with anyone, saved me $67.00 by making a phone call to customer service. Also for everyones info, Vance and Hines does not make pipes for 2007 Royal Star Tour Deluxe or any Royal Star for that matter. This came from them after I e-mailed and ask the company directly. I heard that I would maybe have to unplug or plug off smog control ???? I hope I will be satisfied with the pipes ??? James

got the itch again for a new wing. made the mistake of letting my wife sit on the back of a new one, and she said it was sooo comfortable. unfortionate for me, lol. anyway what does it mean when you start looking at accessory catalogs for goldwings is this a bad sign. the worst part is linda is looking at them with me. could my vstar have that bad of passenger acommodations? i sure hope so. oh well i'll just keep on dreaming. did get my credit approved for one just to be on the safe side. ya never know when i might have to scratch the itch. :cool10:

Seems like they have quite a few big fires in Florida today. Hope everyone's ok down there. Margaret

It looks like we have an petroleum industry intent on ripping the consumer off. According to a local newspaper article on the weekend 1 in 10 gas pumps were measuring wrong, and 85 % of those WERE IN THE VENDORS FAVOUR. How does such an imbalance happen if the industry doesnt know about it. Here's a link to the article (I hope this works)http://www.canada.com/reginaleaderpost/features/hosedatthepumps/story.html?id=e28c1895-89cc-49b7-88bf-484aa73c86dc From what I gather its worse my locale than anywhere else in Canada but it is a nationwide issue. We need to step up the inspections! Brian

Saw this new product listing another board. With Rain-X being harmfull to shields, and being discussed in the past in several threads, I thought Raincoat might be something to look into for those riding in the rain. http://www.motosolutions.com/ Here's a short video. Looks pretty good to me.. Hope the link works. http://76.12.111.23/Videos/RaincoatDemo.wmv

Here's the pictures from this weekend. I tried to get pics of what they were doing, but hopefully you can get the idea. I couldn't get too close without getting in the way. Also they always had their hands in the way. I know how dare they! Anyway the first few are the last pics I took I now know to make sure I load up the last 100 pics or whatever is over 100 first or else when you do it loads the rest up in the first pages. Oh well. http://s7.photobucket.com/albums/y262/venturerider/Muffinmans%20colortune%20weekend%20March%2022nd%202008/ Hope you enjoy. Margaret
