not for me, i'm lucky to be able to direct folks to the banner. i'm totally computer illiterate. that ain't no joke just ask cindy. -
thats why i do all my own work. no one touches my bike but me. if it is a problem that i don't want to spend the money to fix myself, i will let the dealer fix it and unload the bike. just don't trust mechanics with my stuff.

we need to rename her awesome annie. i recieved a couple of nice packages from annie several weeks ago. annie is the definition of what a real thoughtful person and venture rider should be. we love you annie. just wish you were here. linda and i would love to meet you someday down the road. we are still working on something really nice we can do for you. bill and linda :clap2:

okay, this is the last call for the vendor area from me. we are going to have an indoor area in the main hall for vendors. if you have something that you make that you would like to display and sell, the vendor area is free. it does'nt need to be totally bike related such as jewelry or leather work etc.. we will also have an area set up to sell your used bike parts and bike related items. so if you have something to get rid of bring it with an attached price tag with your name on it. all this stuff will also be in the main hall in a secure area. any questions pm me or danob11. i am really looking forward to seeing everyone that is coming. and wish i could see all the folks that aren't coming. there's still plenty of time to register. see you there. bill

don, you make a good point. as far as the venture riders not having many local meets, you are right. this is one of my pet peeves with this group. i love to go to meets. there are always the same few that put on the meets year after year. we have over 7000 members. meets are not that hard to put on. i would like to have more meets in my area that i could attend, where i would'nt have to go a long way, and just let my hair down and relax. i can't afford to do them all, nor do i have enough time. people have to step up to the plate. it is really alot of fun putting one on. i and alot of others who do this would be more than glad to help. you don't have to have a local chapter to have fun. i have many freinds on this group that i see on a regular basis. and ride with. when i get cabin fever i dream up some kind of meet and the people come. i had people from canada ,texas, iowa, virginia, etc., at my st. charles meet this year. you put the meet together and the folks will be there.

the local star chapters are just plain old folks like us. belong to quite a few clubs over the years. and been to alot of corny meetings. i found it to be more fun just to get together and do random rides like our meet and eats. most of the organized groups around here don't do the motorcycle thing. their i dea of a ride is a 20 mile poker run or over to joe blows bike and car show and back maybe 50 miles. there are alot of nice folks in these groups but they don't seem to know how to put on a real motorcycle get together. to busy reading minutes from the last months meeting and trying to look cool in their uniforms, while most of the folks wish they would adjourn the meeting so they can go home. i'll just hang with this bunch. we know what riding is all about. not that there is anything wrong with organized meetings if thats your thing. just not my bag.
