  1. No, you won't need your Carbon_One adapter. I suggest you simply use your bike lift and get the back wheel off the ground about an inch. There is nothing wrong with the adapter, it simply just gets in the way of the install. Good luck....Double D and I had it done in about 15 mins.
  2. You're quite welcome Brother...anytime! And thanks for the prayers. I need 'em right now.
  3. DAVE,....hold up on this until I can help you Saturday. We'll explore it together my friend....I didn't use my Carbon Lift anyway. Just the motorcycle jack. You can take mine for a spin around the lake and see if you can tell a difference prior to the install if you like.
  4. Well, like my personal quote says, "You're only as good as your ability to use the tools." Yeah.......you better let me help you!! :rotf: See you Saturday!
  5. Boomer to the rescue Dave. Since I will be riding with you on Saturday and I have already done it, I'll just follow you back to Clarksvegas and we can do it Saturday evening. Deal??
  6. Dave, whose meet and greet is it?? I have an SCRC Chapter 6 ride on Sunday.
  7. Hey David, I put 'em on my '05 Midnite and did it in about 15 mins. You can use your Carbon One stand and all you do is loosen and remove 2 bolts, take the OEM's off and put these on. I think mine came with new bolts too. There is a torque spec and it should be with your paperwork. When you do remove the bolts, the rear wheel will drop on you, so watch that part. Good luck, and let me know if you need any help! OH YEAH, I never romved the wheel or saddlebags. You will have to move the reed valve and that's not a big issue...

Deal with Squidley on this. You won't be sorry. How's life in Union City?
  9. Monsta...I know you live on an island. What do you need a trailer for?? :rotf: :rotf:
  10. See if Sears has an outlet store in your area. We do, and I got mine for $44.88....brand new.
  11. ART- I have the exact same set up as you. I did the pilot screw fix over the weekend and NO MORE POPPING. WOOHOO!!
  12. I have them installed and have not experienced any issues with the stand.
  13. I agree with Black Ice. When you put it back together, remember to start all the screws before tightening any of them!
  14. Ron, sorry for your loss...thoughts and prayers are sent from Tennessee...
  15. I had a client in Stratford, ON and used to stay in Kitchener on the way. Was a few years ago, but spent many nights there. Pretty country up that way. Brad
  16. None taken Lil' Bro....If I can't have some fun pullin' yer leg every now an again, then it's no fun at all :rotf: Stay warm up there in Kitchener....is the Holiday Inn still there? I closed the bar in that place on several occasions! BTW- It did only take 30 mins to convert! Brad !
  17. Be carefull Brad....I'm a salesman too and did it under 30 mins as well...!!
  18. I agree. I can't wait until I can get 3 of my knucklehead friends together and ride across the country. Pi** of some biker gang and blow up their bar. TV needs a reality check.....Then again, never forget a Redneck's last words...... Hey Ya'll.....Watch this!!
  19. Typical TV fodder. Although the statistics are a bit shocking. Does Minnesota have a helmet law?
  20. On the Baron's, there are 2 screws to remove and pull. Takes 5 mins or less. AND...you can wrap them if you deem too loud. Baron's...even when wrapped though are louder than the RK's even when they are modified.
  21. Crash, look around in the packaging. There should be a black connector that plugs into the cylinder close to the bottom. This is a transition piece to round tubing. If you don't have that, you'll have to do without it.
  22. Alan, thoughts and prayers for you and the family are sent from Tennessee...
