I run twin tuned Fiamms in the fairing and a Stebel as well. I can grease the pants of any old blue haired lady moving over on me....and have!
-
I ran the antenna wire in the fairing and placed it ontop (magnetic) of the cassette deck. Worked perfectly right through the plastic.

Reflectors to LEDs (with turn signals)

Yeah. this sux. I like to check my wiring before making it permanent so it looks like a crazy rats nest right now. I'm gonna scrap this feedback issue with 2 relays and be done with this once and for all! ARRRRGGGGG!!! THANKS COUGAR! -

I'm gonna do both Cougar, but I'm starting with the rear. Got both sides hooked up now and the problem is replicated both sides. Looks like I have emergency signals on the markers. Getting some feedback somewhere....no idea where. Maybe I need to ground to battery? -

Reflectors to LEDs (with turn signals)
Boomer replied to Motorpig's topic in Royal Star Venture Tech Talk ('99 - '13)
thanks Cougar. Found the taps but got a strange issue now. When applying signal, the LED does NOT light to full strength. AND this happens no matter which signal I put on and the other side is disconnected! Good grief. Polarity checked at least 10 times. Using a diode pask by ChromeLEDS. Maybe this will not work right unless I have both sides wired up. Gonna try that next. -
Reflectors to LEDs (with turn signals)

So my side markers on the back and front have been changed out to LEDs for about 2 years. Now I want to chamge them to run and signal combination. I have the resistor kits already wired up but I'd like to catch a signal wire under the pillion seat to make the connections in the rear. Of the bundles feeding the signals to the rear, which one is it and what color is the wire for left and right? Any one know? WHOA...wait a minute. This is in the bundle leaving the battery box under ducking under the fender right? Thanks! -

This proposed law change for TN comes up about every 2 yrs or so. It's always been voted down on capitol hill. Actually, I'd be in favor of the drivers choice.

Venture engine sound
Boomer replied to alwrmcusn's topic in Royal Star Venture Tech Talk ('99 - '13)
Sounds like that typical tranny whine that the Venture is famous for to me...especially when cruising. When you let off the throttle, does it go away? -
I'd ask "Scary Larry".

Got mine installed in about 45 mins yesterday. WOW, what a difference. NOW gotta give the headlight bulb the boot in favor of something close to the new DL's. Is the HID the way to go or Ultrastar?

I think you are right Larry, but I think you mean Mono. Don't think you get true stereo on the back speaks with the factory set-up.

Need a poll for second gen rear shock

Didn't see a selection for "needs changing now", but that's where I am. 34k miles on a 2005. Puked out all the oil. Got to replace it with something. What are you guys having good luck with? -
