  2. Saddly looks like I will be dropping out of going to Freebirds, even had the time booked off. However both my Birthday and Fathers day fall in that time frame and my five kids have made plans for me which I am told I cannot refuse. Not that anyone would ever want to refuse when their Kids want to do something special for them. It actually makes me feel very special. I will miss meeting all the people I have yet to meet and re-meeting all the ones I have already met. For those that are going I hope the weather is great and you all have a good time. Most of all stay safe.
  3. Next best thing , FLAT TIRE, Need to replace the valve assy. Hey a three year old just went by on a tricycle..........Wonder if he will let me borrow it to get some DQ
  4. We are always told that a car has an engine not a motor. This based on the fact that a motor runs on electricity and an engine is a based on internal combustion. So why is it called a motorcycle not an enginecycle
  5. In the US can the familly not lay or persue some sort of wrongfull death or motor manslaughter charges? Its the texting that scares me the most largly because its done the most by the most inexperienced drivers, or weman that are busy running around shopping and multitasking, trying to get everything done at once. Here in Ontario since they banned cellphone use while driving, people have taken to texting more, thinking they can fool the police. In the mean time their eye,s are down. Badly as this sounds it would appear that taliking on the cell phone would be the lesser of two evils, at least the persons eyes are looking forward instead of down, other than when dialing the number, which could be done holding the phone up in front of you within your line of sight. I was once rearended while driving my truck by a girl texting, and all I could think was good thing I was not on my motorbike.
  6. The sooner you get back the better---- that Mini Muffin is gettin way outa hand need you back here to control that mischief maker
  7. probably a blond driver:big-grin-emoticon: My cousin once came to visit and stayed with us. She decided to go for a walk and so taking the hoyuse key she locked the door. Not knowing if it was the only key to the house or not she hid the key and stuck a note on the door letting us know were she hid the key. Yes she is blond.
  8. Thirty five years ago I worked for a company that used to haul bunker oil and any time they had a spill into lakes or rivers. the cleanup up crew always used hay just like in the video and always seemed to work. They would spread it out, leave it for a couple day,s or up to a week and then scoop it up.
  9. Oh man you mean to say there's more than one mini muffin out there, and they can be fabricated at will? :yikes::yikes: Quick Everyone ----RUN -----HIDE ----its an INVASION :yikes::yikes::yikes:
  10. I have thought about it, but I don't think they will let me take one home to try it.
  11. Its as though they have this atitude that they can alway's do it in the car while driving when they run out of time to do something were it should be done like at the office or at home.
  12. We just got these new portable truck lifts at work. You have to wonder what would happen if a tire blew. By the way thats me holding the one post steady, looking a lot more confident than I really am

  14. Putting up with her for 26 year's huh. I would have to say the opposite. I mean look at how tiny she is from having to constantly run back and forth feeding you ice cream every day for 26 years, probably twice on Sunday. Congratulation's Tater's ---- Oh Ok you too Tom
  15. Don't know the guy. Never heard of the guy----But I like him already. Wish they would do things his way in our part of the country, instead of letting bleeding hearts run things.
  16. In that case Charlie has a problem ---------its nothing but cold up were he is.
  17. Heck I read that and thought you had a grandchild, an honest to goodness MINI CHARLIE :rotfl::rotfl:
  18. Sorry to hear about your luck Earl. I know all too well the grief of a back injury, have fallen 23 ft to a concrete floor. However as I found out time, patience and a real good physio therapist can perform wonders. My prayers are with you.
  19. There is some truth to that, but keep in mind when we go on group rides the CB gets constant use.
  20. I was thinking the same thing myself - - - - - -Then I realized Mini, Your still lurking about Boss or no Boss.
  21. The waterproof ones.
  22. If it is the large round 5 pin (around 5/8" dia.) it should work. The Gold wing uses the same connector, so if its made for a gold wing it will work but if its made for the Harley I believe the pinout is different. J&M sets tend to be the most popular although some of the members here have done OK with cheaper brands.
