    Tom, George, Tricia, Brian, and Randy. You all are the best. Tom has to feel so much better knowing that his venture family cares and cares enough to do these things for him while he is laid up. I for one feel so much better knowing you all are on the scene taking care of him. I applaud all of you:clap2:. I just want to say Thank You you all are the best

    Well I just put the charger on it and it showed about a 75% charge. I hope it is the battery and not the stator. Suppose to leave in a week for 8 days in West Virginia and don't need the problems. I guess I better put the meter to it and see if the thing is charging or not.

    Here is a couple of pictures of how I lit mine up in the back LED strips down the frame between the bags and fender. LED strips under the truck and 6 other lights that are round led bulbs and 2 of them are brake lights also.

    OK question, is it possible to have enough voltage to start the bike but not enough to make it run properly? Today 2 times when I went to start it the thing spin then I thought it was started but didn't so I hit the button again and it fired right up. I then noticed that the trip odometer went back to zero both times. I have also noticed that the bike runs a little different lately nothing major and I have lost about 3 mpg. The bike starts very easy so do not have to crank more than a second or two. Thanks Rick

    I had one today that said they were going to lower my interest rate on my credit cards. Said they were my bank. Funny thing is I don't have a credit card. Well I played along and they said I must hav e at least 10,000 on the card and I told him it was an equity line on my house and I had about 40,000 on it with a credit line of somewhere around 75,000. Man he got excited. So we talked andf then he said to lower it he would need my credit card number that's when I asked him how he could live with himself trying to rip people off that's when he told me to go get f"ed and hung up.

    Cougar what does this mean...run it over 32k? Does that mean miles? Cause if it does mine is worse now at 52,000 than it was at 32.000

    Thanks Brian....Great Job on the Info I know Tom appreciates all you have done. I wish I could be of more help but finances won't allow me to come down. George and Lori, the couple who camped with us and she rode the silver wing scooter live in Atlanta and said they would go down and haul the bike if Tom needs it to be hauled and the insurances come together. Anyway they will tlak to Tom and see if they can do anything at this point..

    Cowboys coffee pot attack by bear I encountered one park ranger and we talked for about 15 minutes. He is also a rider.

    Thank You for going to see Tom. Let him know that some how his venture rider family well help him get this taken care of. I say let the insurance company foot the bill for everything. Storage, repairs, hauling and getting him home.. But we are still there for him.

    Lewis, Thank you and everyone who helped with this. Shirley and I had a GREAT time and meet so many wonderfull people. I feel I made some life long friends this past week and that in itself made it a great week and to top it off we helped some kids along the way. makes a person feel good to be part of this family.     I just got off the phone with Tom. He called me to let us know what was going on. First his health. He has 9 broken ribs, collapsed lung (fixed now) Laserated liver, lots of road rash on back, arms and shoulders, also road rash on his helmet. Good thing for the helmet. At this point no surguries needed. He is very sore and on lots of pain killers. He sounded pretty good considering everything. Now for what happened. He was headed south on Hwy 441 when a 93 year old women ran a red light and hit the front of his bike. This caused him to loose contol and pulling the trailer the bike and trailer jackknifed throwing him off the bike which sent him sliding down the road.. He is now out of ICU and like I said sounds in pretty good spirits considering everything. His biggest concern is how to get to his bike and get his belongings after he gets out of the hospital. I will call him later today or maybe tomorrow and remind him that the accident wasn't his fault and that the womens insurance needs to pick up all the costs and rent him a car and such. I am unemployed right now and if I can figure out the money side of it I might ride down and see if I can help him with everything that needs done. Anyway thought everyone would like to know what was going on. Here is his number if anyone wants to call and lift his spirits. 772-260-5431. I will update you when I get more info.

    That is Tom and I am setting next to him. I camped next to him during vogel and we became instant friends. I am so saddend by this news. If there is anything I can do Robin please let me know. I am about 800 miles away but will do what I can. Tom is a tuff guy (no pun intended) and I have faith he will get better. Sounds like a road trip coming up in a few days for me. Anyone live close to Macon that has a spare bedroom for a day or two.
