  1. I've been looking for something like that as well... here http://www.webbikeworld.com/motorcycle-intercoms/interphone-bluetooth-intercom.htm is what I found that looks most promising (now to find the to get one...)
  2. What type bracket do I need to mount the RKs to a 1st Gen??
  3. I'm sure someone here would volunteer to help you out... anyone got a grinder?! Jack's head needs to be a size smaller!!
  4. There is a place (alot of them actually) that you can get the right angle LED bulbs... http://www.customdynamics.com/ is one of them I have bookmarked. I know some of the guys here have done the led replacements and I have swapped out my tail / brake light , I need to put in a resistor or something tho... the warning light on the dash comes on when I use the brakes.
  5. Several of the guys with answers are at Fort Collins... George S is brilliant when it comes to electrical stuff...
  6. Thank you thank you thank you... This place is the best! Any question asked is answered!!! I replaced the 'dash' with one from a parts bike on hand. The computer seems to be at fault here. Thanks again! Scott:scorched:
  7. I did the fuse block replacement a couple months ago...
  8. Ok... thanks to the help I got here, I got my headlight issues taken care of... Now the dang tail light doesn't work!! :bang head: The brake lights are ok... the bulbs are ok... the fuses are ok... What am I missing??? Why no tail lights?? Talk amongst yourselves for a bit... I gotta take the kidlet to the orthodontist right now. Scott:scorched:
  9. It is from being trapped in a 4 wheeled cage... not having the freedom that 2 wheels brings. Scott
  10. The Honda Spray and Polish is essentially the same thing as S100 in an aerosol can. I've used both and it does a pretty good job on it's own, but makes it much easier to handwash your bike than regular soap and water. It does loosen up alot of the crud but won't take everything off and make it a total spray and rinse job. http://www.webbikeworld.com/motorcycle-cleaning-polish/ has a pretty good write-up on the different cleaners and http://www.hawg-wash.com/ has alot of good products and info too. Just my 2 cents...
  11. Ok... I'm sure someone has the answer... How do I hook up my cell phone to run thru the headset on my bike. I have a 1st Gen with Chatterbox headsets and it seems like it only takes minutes after I start riding that people need to get ahold of me... What are you guys doing?
  12. I've lifted mine w/o adapters as well... As long as you get it centered, it is rock solid. I have to admit tho... the first time you lift your 800 lb pride and joy a foot and a half in the air, you'll feel a bit nervous.
  13. Fixit It sounds like you throw together a meet-n-eat and you can get a whole bunch of welders at your beck and call!!! WILL WELD FOR FOOD!
  14. I think most who have tried the Frogg Toggs like them because they keep the rain out and they breathe to keep you from sweatin' your butt off. :thumbsup2: from me.
  15. Easier said than done Salty... ALL the Yamaha shops in town here are owned by the same company!! :bang head: Bill... go to the dealer in Pahrump... Fred Vogt has a long satnding relationship there and speaks pretty highly of them.
  16. Bill... welcome to the world of dealer 'service' here in Vegas... isn't it a joke?! If you add up the collective IQ's at the dealership... your dog is still smarter!
  17. I bought mine from California Sport Touring... best price I found, in stock and great customer service. I put 2 of them on my 86 VR and it is LOUD!! http://www.casporttouring.com/store/merchant.mvc
  18. Actually the Nautilus horns are rated at 139 db... I added 2 of them to my 86!!
