  1. Do what I did and go to another dealer, you are still under 5 years and they will change the basket out. sorry to say though that it most likely will come back. Good Luck! Jeff
  2. you still have not told me where you guys are going or coming to yet silly
  3. Mike isn't gas running about $7.86 per gal now?
  4. Ummm:scratchchin: ROOTBEER FLOATS as well?
  5. where we going?
  6. I looked into an auto tire and there are none that will fit . I switched to a (rear) Dunlop the rubber is harder and is working great.. As far as the aux tank I would also be interested in if it does switch auto or not. still not sure if I am going to add on yet or not. as I said I like getting off the bike and stretching a bit. BUT sometimes having that extra fuel would make one not worry so much if there were no stations around for a long time.
  7. you wont feel anything like that on a Hannigan conversion I promise
  8. Way to go Don !! I myself am at 6 years now after my prostate cancer, all is well. so happy to hear the great news!
  9. Sweet !
  10. It will drop to about 30 mpg ( get the extra tank ) if you don't like to stop. I do not mind it as I like to get off the bike after about 150 miles or so anyways. I used a rear tire , but did not rotate it. (just my thing) A "normal" front tire will wear pretty fast do to the scrapping as the tire as it will not roll anymore. I love my conversion. Jeff
  11. Drive a while with gas cap off if your tank is low (gas) Mine did this a few years ago and come to find out that my vent in my gas cap was totaly glogged with rust but I could drive a while and then the bike would starve for fuel then die. goose is correct that you need to give more info though. my post is just another thought for you.
  12. Tom, Rocky Road Ice Cream should work fine !!
  13. ` the best in town
  14. That is the same spot I got my leaks on two different rads (slow leaks) since then I have installed the Wagner grill protector and no problems since Steve has them for sale
  15. I do not even have my original rear end anymore and makes the same sound. (hint):: clutch basket... and some (I's) will work only for a while good luck.
  16. what was made wrong?
  17. Fuel pumps can be had at PINWALL CYCLES --I keep an extra in my trunk at all times. I think there about 30 bucks from them. they have tons of them off used bikes. BTW you do NOT have to remove the gas tank to remove the 2 front plugs just slide it back a bit. Jeff This info is from Mr. Goose Fuel Pump - Most external low pressure/low volume fuel pumps should work - stock pump has a 3 PSI rating and costs over $200. Look for a solid state pump sold for old VWs or jeeps. Here are a couple of links for replacement pumps under $50: Autozone 4-7 PSI Autozone 2-3 1/2 PSI JCW 1 1/2-4 PSI JCW 1 1/2-3 1/2 PSI

  20. To change the subject a bit , I just finely changed out my front tire after 3 years and I always had RIDE-ON in it. I saw the tire at my dealer after he took it off and the RIDE-ON was perfectly formed down the middle of the inside tire and spread right to the side wall the mechanic says he had never seen tire junk in a tire that was so easy to change and not make a huge mess. It is also water soluble (sp?) I am still to this day VERY happy with RIDE-ON I now also have it in all our car tires as well. I was also happy with the venture rider discount even buying it for my cars
