Any help appreciated the radio on my 08 RSV locks up randomly - can't change stations or enen shut it off for that matter. Only thing that will do anything is the volume dial. Until I pull into the dealers lot and park then works normal! Frustrating! Ken!

I am 56 years young - ride a 08 RSV! Got bike licence at 16 - which was a LONG time ago LOL! Long weekend holiday here ride safe everyone! Later Ken!

Been through Cameron AR in a sand storm in a cage and saw a couple bikes and can not imagine how harsh that would be!

Been dealing with the local dealer for a number of years with sleds and bikes! Lost a lot of faith in them today! Did an oil change on the bike and checking everything over lights etc. What the H.ll turn signal on left the front blinks right and visa versa other way! The dealer installed passing lihhts for me about 5000km ago and hooked the sinals up BACKWARDS! As I walk into dealer this am the salesman says how are you I said glad I did not get smoked you guys hooked up the signal lights backwards. Response from service guy was no way we would have done that! I put the keys on the desk and said I will be back later this morning for the bike!. At the front door I spopped and told him YOU installed the passing lights and YOU assembled the bike!! When I picked up the bike they were very sheepish and appologetic! How fortunate I did not get smoked at an intersection!!! Lawsuit would have been underway for sure! Lesson learned check over everything YOURSELF!!!! Sorry this was such a book! Ken!

I just recieved the adapter from Edset and now have the bike radio and CB (no mike output for CB) But ties into my Collett communicators which my wife and I use bike to bike. Voice activated either of us talk or cell phone rings the radio is muted. Works great for us! Ken!

I assume dealers south of the 49th must be a lot different than the ones I have dealt with here! Any I have taken snowmobiles or bikes to for repair warranty or other wise have been well trained and done good work. Not cheap but no different than car repair places! Just my experience! Ken!

Safety Chrome must remeber that one for when I ask my wife if we can get some more shiney stuff. It's okay honey it is to make the ride safer!

If you are traveling with a pickup why not just load the wing in the truck box? Most bike dealers have a loading ramp you can use. Tie down and good to go. Know many people who have done this. Best friend hauled his wing home that way. Note far less bouncing in the box than on a trailer! just food for foder! Ken!

Coming from a Nomad to the Venture would look hard and long for another new non current Venture like the 08 I just bought! So much nicer ride than the Nomad!

Another option is Beacon Insurance a Salmon Arm company! They provide an excellent coverage at a great rate. Cover a lot of extras for no extra cost for example riding gear motel and meals if bike is stolen while out of town etc etc! My Venture $23,000 coverage $525 a year wifes Shadow $325 a year for $10,000. Must be insurance claim free for 2 years no more than 2 speeding tickets in last 3 years to qualify for these rates. just an other option! Ken!
