  2. Geez Don, Most of us dream about going to a resort in northern Wisconsin for a week. You know, fish all day, drink all night, eat high on the hog. Yeah, I know, you worked all week--no fishing, etc. Enjoy your vacation, Steve

  8. First of all, a great big thank you to Gary and Anne for hosting this again. (and of course it's always great to see Scooter) And Owl, for bringing the guest of honor, and all of the food fixings, and putting this all together. It is always a great time with old and new friends. Me and Yooper got back to my place late afternoon yesterday, after a bit of rain up north. The chili's were both very good, and lots of fun. Already looking forward to next year. Steve
  9. Actually, I sort of liked the old way better too, but i haven't really used the new classifieds much. Seems like it's harder to get to. I'm sure it's just me, but if there was a link to click on to get to them, I'd leave it as is. All this stuff for me just takes getting used to. But I always have HOME come up when I get on. BUT, thanks for all you do, Steve
  10. That's where you are. I came past there this aft on the way home from taking my daughter back to LaCrosse, to college. Now back home trying to cool off. I'll be by there around 7 or so, but you'll be in the sack, right. I'll wave. See you all tomorrow, Bob, sat, right? Steve

  22. There are good stories and there are great stories, and that is a great story, Thanks for being able to tell it. I know what you mean about being glad it was you and not your son. And I'm glad you are OK. I know that you are bummed about the bike, but you also know there are is another one out there waiting for you. It's good, once in a while to run into a situation where you have renewed faith in humanity. I also had it happen to me last weekend. I had stopped on a back road to put my ear buds in, and had a motorcycle, truck and two cars stop to see if I needed help. Steve
  23. I don't even want a repeat of last year's fiasco. :yikes: OMG NO! Believe me Bubber, none of us want to witness anything like that again. And to think that this year you would do it in front of your wife. The sounds coming from the outhouse will haunt us forever:shock3: Steve
