    Lube is probally the answer to about everything you have listed here. I don't think you should use WD40. Pulling the speedeometer is not that bad. It is in the manual I think or might be a thread here about it. Must pull windsheild and there are two screws on each side that hold control panel in. Can't remember all. But you should clean and lube with Dielectric grease all connections you come to. Lube the speedo and tach with a good light oil. 3 in 1 oil or something like that. WD 40 not the thing to use in here. I'm Sure someone will kick in that knows.

    If I have offended anyone I did not intend to offend I apologize. I try very hard to keep bad attitude from here but know I am guilty of responding when it comes in my direction. I will apologize if I ever got others involved. Didn't want to do that. This thinking is rough!! Can I quit now??

    You would be surprised how many answers you can get for that thing here. But you know the rules... PICS?? Those were a strong old bike. I'm sure after you clean it up good, tune it up, fix what is necessary you could get your money back out of it here.....

    OH Did you get a raise????:rotfl: I think I have been feeling a little better. Now the weather keeping me in. Leg can't handle cold at all any more. Lot of days I know I could be out doing something but even cool weather really sits it off.

    Nite Mini!! Don't know if that sleep aid thing or whatever is doing any good but sure getting in bed a lot earlier and sleeping more but it still wakes me up couple times a night when pressure builds up too much in it.

    I paid 3k for mine a few yrs ago with the class and aftermarket ridio no CB and 19k on it. It had some issues from sitting too much.

    I Got a new Woman!! Shoulder length with blonde streaks!!! It don't make any difference to me as long as she likes it. I think she is still trying to make up her mind.

    I was planning on doing the cables on Ugly this spring. Got a AGM battery from Earl and don't think I need cables right now. Left that battery sit out without starting Ugly all thru this last cold spell on purpose. Left it sit for a week and cranked it like a new one. Time for a little more tinkering.
