  1. I found it interesting that the current last post is about the whine.
  2. I felt the same way when I rode my brother's Moto Guzzi with a sidecar. Really strange feeling when turning.
  3. Use Windows Media Player to Rip music from CD's. You already paid for the music if you own a purchased CD. Media Player will also let you sync music to your MP3 player.
  4. I ordered the luggage rack from Boats.net a few weeks ago. Waiting and waiting for it, found out it was backordered. The next time I checked it was canceled, they never notified me.
  5. http://www.venturerider.org/forum/showthread.php?p=352091&highlight=stebel+rstd#post352091 Can you hear me now? Stebel Air Horn on RSTD. Message #1 shows the install. Message #4 shows the brackets I made from aluminum bar stock. I bent the brackets so the horn sits back from the muffler pipe.
  6. I have trouble with my back brake on my RSTD 2007. Turns out the rotor is bent, bike was sold to me a new so it's under warranty. However, I've been waiting over a month for the new rotor to come in, they keep saying it's on backorder. What happens when I am braking is the bike will be smooth while slowing down until I get to about 10 MPH, It will then continuously grab and release until completely stopped.
  7. Thank you! There's a post with pictures of my Stebel mounted on my RSTD 07.
  8. Parkway Hardware in West Chester, PA made keys for my bikes a number of years ago. '84 Venture Royale, '80 Kawasaki 550 LTD, '84 Yamaha Maxim 550 and just recently a Polaris Trail Boss 325. The Polaris takes a Datsun key, by the way.
  9. If you lose her you buy another motocycle to ease your sorrow.
  10. Has he taken the safety course? That should save him between 5 and 10 percent. Shop around.
  11. Schedule the AutoRoad, that's the road to the top of Mt. Washington. 6, 288 feet up. http://www.mtwashingtonautoroad.com/ I have ridden up twice on my '84 VR (back down, too, of course) and hiked up once, took the cog railroad back down. There is the Littleton Diner in Littleton, NH that is a fun little place to have breakfast.
  12. http://www.clearviewshields.com/. Nice people. Where is the damage? Some people cut their shields down so they look over them rather than through.
  13. I have mild carpal tunnel. Years ago the doctor suggested stretching as a treatment. It has worked for me. Take your one hand and gently bend the first and middle fingers back until you feel the stretching in your wrist. Hold for a few seconds. Do this for both hands a few times.
