Thanks a million for all the input! I found him a little Shadow,600...got a steal on it too! The owner was scared of it! You should have seen the look on there face when I showed up on my 2008 Yamaha Venture! "Priceless" Called a company a got him coverage for a LOT less! AND he is not allowed on Dad's Bike ! My son got his motorcycle license this weekend, I called my insurance company to put him on. They want to raise the cost 4 X ?? He has clean license ? Told him he can not drive it, as our state requires it to drive. Can anyone sugest a company (s)? Thanks!

Have both, put the short one on in summer. The use the OEM in spring and fall.. Shorter one is just below my line of sight...perfect! But in the cold weather, love that taller one! Keeping it clean is a pain!

Today I called and ordered a Hopnel Tank Bib, one place told me they no longer stocked them. The next place told me they are no longer making them & could no longer get any. I called another dealer, he called his outlet. None, no more coming. Same story! I guess I waited too long. I called one more dealer and they did not have any. The guy called back and said they had 3 and thats it. The will no longer will be made. Can anyone shine more lite on this. Yes, I ordered one ASAP! Aprox $60 and shipping. This just for anyone thinking about ordering from J C Whitney, they do have any nor will they get any. If you want one,call around fast. They all wanted to sell me the Yamaha one for double the $$.

I've been loooking @ a GPS and would like to have on. The ones for cycles are high $$. Anyone ever mount one that is not water proof,I would lik to use it in my vehicle too. I know I would be taking risk of it getting wet, but is the extra $$ worth it. My Venture has a cig plug right by where I would mount it, I know I would have to have a handle bar mount, but that could stay on bike all the time. Any in-put would help before I lay out $$ for one. Can anyone tell me if they have ever installed a set of mirrors with the turn signals in them. I've seen a set you wire as running lights and turn signals. Are they worth the $$ or just stick with the stock. I have looked over the reviews and seem to think they might be easy to install, if they work as the company says. I'm still torn over spending the money. I need some help/input as I'm sure some one has done it. Putting them on my 08 Venture..... Thanks! Ride safe!
