Good morning readers and welcome to a very late edition of AS THE WHEELS TURN! My apologies for missing yesterday's installment, but I'm on vacation nand lost track of what day it was! When we last left Bongo and the boys, he was asking the manager what the noise was in the parking lot. Not that I want to worry you Mr Stephano, but there is a very really bad storm coming and they have closed the airport and we are securing the lot by moving everytrhing that is not nailed down inside! I'm so glad they decided to build the airport way north of the lake not like New Youk, Boston, and Philladelphia did by building on the water's edge! What kind of storm asks Bongo. It's the remains of Hurricane Sandy that just hit land in New Jersey. They say Long Island disappeared under water! I hope your family is OK Mr. Stefano... Hmmm, thinks Bongo, what an excellent excuse to call as many members and have them show up for a gala costume party! I will have them dress as mob bosses and gun molls and this place will never be the wiser! I need a phone and a computer Mr Manager he says. Of course, use my office, I will make sure no one disturbs you... Will Bongo pull this off? How bad will Super Storm Sandy hit Toronto? Wuill we ever get back on schedule with our episodes? Stay tuned for further developments providing our writers are still able to get on the internet and continue to write "AS THE WHEELS TURN"

We're heading back tomorrow and should be back by Saturday. Hope we still have a place to come home to as there are some really tall pines near our place. Oh well, MC Tom lives 3 doors down so if anything happens I'm sure he will call me, he has my cell number... There is a couple here, part of the family group visiting, that have family and friends on Long Island. Lots of flooding and power outage in NYC. They have a place near Williamsport PA that got flooded out a couple of years ago, so they are hoping their place will survive, they just gotr done cleaning up after the last flood! Man, 20+ foot waves on the great lakes!! PS we are not going back the same way we came down, don't feel like driving thru 2 feet of snow!!!

Yup! I use the red Craftsman too! You need to place a couple of pieces of wood in the right place though, or invest in a carbon1 lift adapter... -
Oww Oww Oww!! Oh well, it could have been a lot worse I suppose! My advice, let 'em have the bike...
-
Would you believe there is still wind here?!!? Gusts must be at least 20mph! High was in the 80's today...
-
Hey om, can I borrow your new bike?? I want to see if I can still hold up a 2 wheeler...

Here we are at Melborne Florida along with a bunch of Electricians and trucks at the same hotel, and pfffft, nothing!! Hit some heavy rain driving thru Datrona (in the cage) around 5 PM but it only lasted a few minutes, just enough to wash the bugs off!! What a disappointment...

Man, not yet another of us! This is happening tooo often! Glad you are relatively OK, would rather hear of an accident from the member rather than the obits! Heal fast and well!! As far as keeping the bike or not, that will have to be your personal decision. There would most likely be a lot of work and money involved to repair it, more than it is probably worth. However, depending on what's salvageable, you could always part it out and make more money than what it costs to buy from the insurance company, but parting it out is also a lot of time and work...

Good Morning faithful readers, here's today's late version of AS THE WHEELS TURN! As we left Bongo and the boys, there was a loud sound coming from the parking lot. As everyone turns to see what the commotion was Bongo quickly explains tro Wizard765 just what has transpired so he is up to speed with the rest of the group. When the manager returns from the parking lot he tels Bongo that the private room is now ready for their "business" meeting and please order whatever they want and the bill will be settled on the account. Hey, free food and drink for everyone thinks Bongo!! OK there will be others joining us says Bongo. By the way do you have any kind of written report on the expansion of this place that we can review? Why of course Mr. Stephano, the manager replies. I will give you the report I just sent to your organization's headquarters yesterday about the addition of the pizza parlor and the donut shoppe to the expansion. Mr. Salvatore was just in earlier dropping off the special ingredients for both the donuts and the pizza. He made it very clear not to confuse the ingredients as there is adverse effects if the wrong ingredient is added to the wrong recipe. Bongo asks the manager just what was that strange noise in the parking lot. The manager replies, "Oh, nothing to worry about sir, it was just..." Stay tuned to find out just what that strange noise was as we also find out Just how much food can the group consume? Will there be any pizza or donuts involved? Will there be any ice cream involved???

Myself I was just plain unhappy with the setup of the Hannigan rear brakes but I modified before the change that Hannigan initiated. Funny thing, they don't inform anybody about the change unless you complain about them. I went to stock Honda CRX rotors and calipers but had to switch the master cylinder to a 13/16 in bore Wilwood master cylinder and made an adapter plate and cut up my brake pedal/master cylinder mounting bracket. Had to also come up with new ss rear lines and line from master to y adapter. It was a fair amount of work but well worth it IMHO. The hardest part was coming up with the right bore for the master cylinder. Tried 3 different diameters before I hit the one I lke the best. Too big a diameter and no pedal travel but need a lot of force, too small and lots of travel but too touchy grabby brakes...
