    Road Rage

In Texas, law abiding citizens can carry concealed handguns in their vehicles, not a good idea to run a bike or cage off the road down here!
  2. Very Nice! Drive it for a couple years and still get your investment back, can't beat that!
  3. Thanks Ponch, I was already getting confused. I don't know if the above post understood that I would be doing away with my cassette (for gauges) . I know you understand because you will be doing the exact same thing.
  4. The people on this site are so great! :clap2:Job well done guys!!! Congrats on your new holders Annie.
  5. :sign yeah that:I agree...Ebay and Craigslist are great of BUYING, Selling not so much.
  6. I use the jack next to the cassette player to my Garmin and listen to tunes through "Aux" my question is, when I do away with my cassette player and go to guages, will I be able to plug into anything behind the cassette player or will I need to hardwire this?
  7. I ran up to Tyler last night and was able to get the bike back in order. It was a simple matter of loosining and prying. Thanks for the info guys, as usual, you were right in your diagnosis!
  8. O.K., I'll bite...whats a voyager kit?
  9. Has anyone checked to see if the dealer would install the aftermarket shock under warranty and charge the owner the difference between the two?
  10. Thanks guys, kinda what I thought but wanted to hear it from you guys first. I'll probably head over this weekend to try loosing everything up and straighten it out I'll also attempt to pry the foot assembly down first before we purchase any new parts.
  11. My 21 year old son in law went down yesterday in the drizzle. He is fine (only doing about 15 m.p.h.) but his bike (V Star 650) has some damage. I have included some pictures. Appears that he will need a right foot assembly. I can't tell from the pictures if his handlebars are bent (he says they are) or if its in the tree. Any input would be appreciated,he lives 10 miles south of Tyler in Whitehouse if anyone is in the area and might want to go by and look at it. It will be this weekend at the earliest that I can take a peek and start a parts list. As always, Thanks for the help all...
  12. I'm too superstitious to put one on because I've had good luck all these years without them...
  13. Trimster has one on his bike, it looks really good. I'm going to be ordering one!
  14. Hey Goose, you already know your next bike is going to be a R.S.V.
  15. They do Paypal, shipping for basic kit and 3 packs of replacement shims was $6.95:178: Thanks Goose!
  16. Glad you and your wife are o.k., its a good lesson to us all to wear protective gear!
  17. The plug and play is a waste of money! You need some wire, connectors, inline fuse, and a relay...it really is that simple.
  18. :sign yeah that:I agree totally!!!
  19. Hey Tom, sorry about Deb but happy for you and wild hair...ya'll be careful, be safe, and have fun!!!
  20. I got mine from BikerHiway and was happy with the purchase but DO NOT buy the "plug and play" it does not plug and play (maybe for cars) Use Carbon One's adaptor and relay and follow the directions here online and its really easy.
  21. Thanks MiCarl! The diagram did the trick!!! I guess some of us are just more visual...:clap2:
