  1. Ponch and Kathy are such wonderful folks, I have had them to my home on a number of ocassions. I tend to think Freebird hit the nail on the head about her possible bitterness towards motorcycles in general, Between Ponch's accident and my own (2 years ago in April) I have ridden less than 500 miles total and it has changed me forever. I love this group and have always felt welcome and treated wonderfully at m.d.'s as well as meet and eats... like most everone else on this site, I eagerly await to hear from Ponch and Lil Bit. :bighug::bighug:
  2. Thanks for the updates guys. Its nice to be able to keep up with Ponch through you. I wish the best for him in his recovery. :bighug:
  3. I appreciate all the suggestions and ideas - keep 'em comin'.Thanx Mike - Gatesville is a nice area and it sounds interesting - we are in contact. I'd love for Goose to live in Gatesville, its only about 30 minutes from my house!
  4. I just got on the site after having been away for two weeks and needles to say I am numb. I have spent the last hour reading all the post and Squid's updates and have had my heart in my throat the entire time. Stay strong Ponch, I love you brother! Keep us updated Squidley, give my love to Lil Bit.
  5. Hey Goose. let me know when you get a firm date, I would love to make it up to check the valve clearance and enjoy great company!
  6. It was so great to see everyone, work on the bikes, and eat some awsome pulled pork! Thanks to Kreg for hosting, Ponch for carb adjusting, Hal for the pulled pork, Squidly for the humor, and everyone else for making it such a great day!!!
  7. I'll be heading your way early in the morning. I should be there by about 0900 hrs. Looking forward to seeing everybody again and work on my carbs too!!!
  8. Hey Kreg, I would love to make it down to work on my carbs. I'll plan on being there about 0900hrs. If I get called in to work I'll let ya'll know. I saw Gooses post on the Gumout cleaner, what else do I need besides some tools? Really looking forward to seeing everyone again!
  9. Hey Ray, glad you made it down with no real problems. I noticed your son lives in Temple. What is his name and where does he work? I think I may know him...
  10. I have about a dozen transactions with these folks and have always had excellent descriptions, ok prices, and super fast shipping...but then again they were not in the process of moving.
  11. Mods, I'm not addicted...I can quit anytime I want!!!
  12. I'll be pulling for him! (Pat White) I don't know if Colt will ever be a full time starter in the NFL but it sure was fun watching him win 47 games in 4 years at the University of Texas!
  13. Thanks Ponch, the only thing I hate worse than a suite and tie at work is having to drive the cage to work! Fortunatly I don't have to do either one very often...
  14. OK Yammer Dan, we wont leave Pat White out...the Miami QB?
  15. Ok, for all you non sports fans...Colt is the all time winningest quarterback in the history of NCAA football. A 4 year starter at The University of Texas, recently drafted by the Cleveland Browns. He is a great kid with good family, values, and ethics. He will not disappoint UT fans like Vince Young, Cedric Benson, Or Rickey Williams have done. His younger Brother Case is an incoming freshman at U.T. and will likely back up Garret Gilbert at Q.B. for the next couple years.
  16. I don't know how many sports fans we have out there...I had the opportunity to meet Colt McCoy, his brother Chance, and his Dad today. :big-grin-emoticon:Great kid !
  17. I'm not sure how well the quick release would work for the batwing, would you use existing headlamp? Also, wouldn't you have to have some type of quick disconnect for the power stuff? Anyone one this site done something like this?
  18. Not to steal a thread, but mine arrived friday, thanks Larry!
  19. Were good! It will take more than an 18 wheeler to keep us down. Thanks all!!!
  20. You are very welcome Tom, Keeley knew how much time and effort you had put in to make the weekend a success. We are doing fine and will be back in no time. I'll leave it to y'all to decide exactly which model is on the apron, Keeley thought you would get a kick out of that, she had even checked with me to see what color bike you have so she could make it the same.
