    I'm getting one also. So i gonna watch this thread. My current battery seems to be fine but its over 5 years old and I'm thinking before i start running heated gear i should replace it.

    No they are easy to install. I have them on my 04. If you want to try them out before you buy them let me know. we could meet up and you can take my bike for a ride.

    See this thread make me glad to be associated with this group. Brad congrats you have done so much for others that its only fitting. Remember always ride that bike with the passenger pegs down.
