Welcome to the family!!

Thank you! Taking a big trip to Glacier and Banff this summer by ourselves, and you just never know. Printed them off and will put in helmets, and with drivers licenses. Thanks again.

That's correct. You should be heading west at that point!! Good Luck and have fun!

Head to Sedona!!! It's worth the extra miles!! http://www.google.com/images?q=tbn:nYgb7kzy1SgevM::students.cup.edu/smi3115/sedona_72_res_cut_iwwg.jpg

Me cook?....In your dreams .....Since the boys left home I do as little of that as possible. (although I can make a mean rasberry cheesecake!)

Welcome aboard from another Iowa resident. Check out the meet n eat thread as we are having one this weekend that starts in Riverside IA!

This sounds like a fun idea. Just to add on a little...instead of using signs, you could nail up stuffed animals on trees. (I'm sure you could find some at Good Will) We ride in Wisconsin and theres one road that has stuffed animals for miles on trees. Don't know what the purpose is or was...but Gary and I even get a bang out of seeing them!

WooooooHOOOOOO!!! Glad to hear the good news!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I'm asking that this post be the last one in this thread. Don has asked for help and you make the choice. What's important for him right now is to concentrate on himself and his future with this devastating disease. We all know Don reads every post and what he doesn't need is to worry about the small things in life. Lot's of members here have had cancer....it's the scariest word in the dictionary as far as I'm concerned. Right now we need to support him whether it's financially, in prayers, or just by sometimes thinking before posting. Let's just give him a break. Thanks Deb

I'm in! On my virtual trip I'm riding to .....Norway! Flying over there, renting a Venture and riding through the fjords!! Where are you going?

Glad you got rid of that brain fart you were suffering from....sounds like you got your common sense back! Well ..... all's well that ends well.......like I said. We're glad your back!

I just knew you wouldn't stay away too long.. keep rubbin that ointment... just glad you thought of your New Years resolution. Iowawegian.....who may be a softy sometimes, but has thicker skin than you'll ever know!

Nice to see you back Boomer!! I'd give you a hard time...but I'll be good!

I think we all breathed a sigh of relief just seeing you post after your surgery Don. I don't know what it is about surgery, but it's always nice to hear from the patient once it's over. All of us our keeping you and your family in our prayers!
-
You might know more about what you want to do, after you have the meeting. It has to be so hard going through this whole ordeal and I just wanted you to know that you are included in our prayers daily.

I'm so excited, even though this has nothing to do with motorcycles, I just had to share the news. Our oldest son, 26, has always wanted to be a pilot. My grandpa flew a Cessna, my dad is a pilot who flew Satabra's and since our son was 8 yrs old, he has wanted to learn to fly. He finally took the step and had his first flight lesson today!! Took off, flew the whole time and landed by himself!!! He called afterwards and I've never heard that kind of excitement in his voice!! I'm just so happy for him that I had to share the good news!! The instructor told him that he's had pilots with 15-20 hours flight time in and can't land as smoothly!! That's my boy!! (Mom's are allowed to brag bout thier youngin's once in a while aren't they?) Anyway, just so dog gone happy he's following his dream!! Thanks for letting me share!:dancefool::dancefool:

Have it on my outlook and will be there also. Is there someone who will be able to let us know how the surgery goes?

Just ordered the helmet! http://www.newenough.com/image/path/16818/small/blue.jpg?1216300687 I also just got this jacket today in the mail from them. Xmas present for our son. Normally $169.00 and I paid $49.99 plus shipping/handeling. He's going to love it. I usually don't promote company's but this is my 4th order from them and I can't say enough about them.
-
I don't know why they wouldn't give it to you for the same price. They seem like a real good company to work with.
-
New Enough. Same place I buy our jackets. They send me weekly emails on their sales. Just bought a great jacket for my son. If you order anything....the company will donate to our site here, but you have to specify it. I really like them as it's fast shipping.
