    Good morning my brothers. I have been trying to list a bike on 2nd gen listing and when I finish filling everything out and hit submit it goes back to step one as if I am being given the option to list somthing else but my listing doesnt get posted? Thanks for any help you can give me.

    Ever heard of a throttle meister from markley enterprises in milwaukee? I used one on my valkyrie for years and then got tired of fighting the venture cruise and went with one on it- you cant beat it for ease and dependability. Looks great and reduses vibration on the bar ends, I use the hevy duty polished tj

    It is the radio wire with the blue marking on it push it back togethor and problem solved- "di" grease is a good idea also consider tape around the plug to keep it conected. tj

    Sorry- 99rsv, One light and when I push the starter that light flashes and nothing happens. I wait awhile and it fires. I just got back from a rainy run down the highway and it ran just fine, I puleed in the drive and while turning around it died and is not starting again. I was supposed to make a 600 mile ride early in the morning but might ought to pass.

    oil level is fine, has been sitting while I shot paint( two months- I am slow).

    Getting ready for a early morning trip; my oil warning light came on and the bike wouldnt start, a few minutes later she fired and then did it again- any thoughts?

    Just got my scoot back from the paint shop- looks great but I left the rubber seals on the bag parts on tear down, dumb me. The painter doesnt remember them. Looking at the parts picture, it looks like there is only a seal on the lids- but I remembered a seal around the bag itself. Would somone look at theirs and see how it actually should be? Thanks tj

    We camp right beside the registration building. Facing the building take the road to the right, and as you get up the first hill we will be right there. Black and blue custom paint on a second gen, maroon bunkhouse camper, kansas tags, one of the group usually has a large texas flag. Look us up- I am looking forward to meeting you. TJ

    We have a rubber belt company in town that discardes chunks of sheet rubber anywhere from three quarters to two inches thick, so I went dumpster diving and got some rubber the same thickness as original. I then traced the original, added the distance needed, cut with a saw, used a hand grinder to cut the ribs in the top and round the edges and you cant tell them from the original. I would be glad to send you some material if you would like to go the same route. tj

    Anyone know if a set of bub slip-on pipes for a RK will fit using the RK bracket and clamps that we normally use for a conversion ? Thanks tj:doh:

    I just ordered a new showchrome not becuase mine is scratched but becuase I need a shorter shield to get into a 10x18 storage building that I have. No major scratches, just a few swirls when riding into the sun. It will probally be a couple of weeks until I get the new one on- but if you want the old one its yours, just get me a shipping address. tj

    I am overwhelmed and encouraged by the help. I still havent fixed it but feel I am pointed in the right direction. I was a valkyrie rider for 6 years ans enjoyed the bike- but the community in the vrcc was not as helpful and as welcoming as you have been; I am looking forward to being a part of the community for years to come. tj

    I posted a few minutes ago but ended up with a 2nd gen question on the 1st gen forum. I put in a stebel horn, and when finished noticed that I have no turn signals or flashers to the rear, everything is fine in the front- any ideas? I do have rear brake lights - thanks for any and all help tj

    Hello everyone! I was tinkering with the rsv (1999) putting on a stebel horn, I finished and did a walk around looking at my lights when I found that I have no turn signals or flasher going to the rear. I do have brake lights and all function up front - just not in the rear. Im guessing its a ground but where do I start? Thanks for any help tj
