If the mounting hardware comes with the pipes I'd offer 80% of the new price. Shipping costs will have to be sorted out between you and the Seller as well. Boomer.......who has a very nice set of BUBS sitting in a box. Can't force hisself to pull those 4-2-4's off the scoot and let the squirrels have any quiet time.

I'd bet $$$ the driver of the PU also is a bike rider. As for the driver of the Suburban the best we can hope for is that one day he will try that crap with a 1% and read in the paper about his demise. Boomer.........who knows that stupid cannot be fixed and there's not enough bleach in the gene pool.

Well just to make ya feel better I provide this bit of info: Disclaimer: No hairball can actually be harmed in the performance of this physical exercise. The foot used to launch the hairball should be covered with a suitable leather shoe/boot to prevent clawing injury. Also....the foot should be used in a swooping motion behind the hairball.... which results in the placement of the foot beneath the main body of the hairball immediately prior to launch. Boomer.........who could teach these exercise Guru's a thing or two also.

A very good physical therapy for the leg is drop-kicking a cat across yer Living Room. And you'll get a good laugh seeing that hairball trying to swim off yer boot once the paws leave the floor........ Boomer.......who can ship ya a hairball...and there is a No Return Policy on this offer.

Nope........Tried that once and twisted both ankles. Boomer.......who can't afford them $200 NBA Nike sneakers.....but found that reversing duct tape socks werks jest as well.

Actually she does once inna while. If I'm gone from the Site for a day or so its only cuz I have to let the swelling of the cartoon knots on my head go down ....... Boomer.....who's not quite fast enuff to dodge that skillet.

I certainly did thank her.....I spared her hairball cat from several airborne journeys across the Living Room.....the Hairball Amnesty Program ends this Sunday.

If It were up to me I doubt that I would spend that kind of money for something like this. By nature I am very skeptical of "gadgets" especially so when it comes to my scoot. My gain as I see it is that my Missus cared enough about me to do the research and purchase this for me. I suppose that having it on the scoot gives her a small measure of "piece of mind" and I consider that a gain as well. Also,I can see that a slow leak from one of the tires while on the road (for whatever reason) will possibly be detected sooner and allow me to take preventive measures quicker and with more safety to myself. Please know that I am not trying to talk anyone into buying this for their scoot. Just informing folks so that they can make their own choice for themselves. Boomer.........who's never gonna reject a gift from his wife.....even when its a fashion-disaster tie with revolting colors.

5 weeks ago the Missus bought me the TireGard System for use on the Scalded Ape. I check my tire pressures every single morning whether I intend to ride or not and I guess the Missus was trying to save me some time/effort. Anyhoooo.....I put everything together from the Kit and slapped it on the bike. I am impressed with this TireGard I have to say. The tire sensors are right on the money and accurate. The Monitor has 26psi Low Pressure default setting....I changed that to 38psi. It is impossible to hear the "beeping alarm" while the bike is running and I am on the road. The Monitor also "vibrates" a warning if Low or High pressure occurs and that works very well if I keep the Monitor in my shirt pocket. Overall I am very happy with knowing the air pressure in the tires with just a push of the button and a glance at the Monitor when on the road. The tire sensor batteries are supposed to last 18 months and the Monitor battery is good for 1 year. Time will tell I suppose. The Monitor is not waterproof but fits easily in my shirt pocket protected from the elements. The TireGard system was purchased at CruiserCustomizing, com and the whole unit is made by Show Chrome Accessories. My Missus paid a little over $150 for it. Boomer.........who still checks his tires every morning with a high quality tire guage.

LMAO!! I can understand that completely. With over 23 years of Active Duty I sure ran across some unusual names that at times created a bit of difficulty for me. I got to be real good at keeping a straight face .....especially when it came to issuing orders to subordinates. Behind the closed door of the Chief's Quarters we all laughed and shared great memories in that special Fraternity I assure you. Boomer........who's sure that more than one Commanding Officer was happy to see him walking off his gangway for the last time.

I only need glasses for reading but I have had difficulty reading my GPS (Nuvi) when on the scoot. My buddy turned me on to these and I have to say the results are great! Not only can I read the GPS but also the Menu's (at Food Stops) and durn near all other little print stuff. The price was so good I bought 4 pairs AND the Night Vision glasses too. They really work well on bright sunny days as well....and yes they fit SNUG to the head. I ordered the x2.5 magnification for the bifocal part. Wow!! Link: http://www.drleonards.com/Health-Products/Vision-Aids/HD-Vision-Bifocal-Sunglasses/71062.cfm Boomer.....who only likes to squint at wimmen and these glasses are great for the ogling too!!

Hey shmedly the back roads on the Eastern side of the State are good riding as well.... One of these days I'll make it over to your side and give you a shout for a ride. I have covered this side of the State plus RI for the past 3 riding seasons so I'm ready to expand my territory. Boomer.....who would appreciate info on decent food joints in western CT.....and locations for pole dancers as well...........

If I lived closer and knew you would have a stripper there I'd be the first one arriving...........sigh. Boomer............who is partial to pole dancers too........

All the riders I know that have the headlight modulators also have a copy of the Federal Law on their bike with them. To be fair....Not all LEO's are aware or are kept abreast of legislation concerning lighting on MC's. Boomer.......who kicks his middle finger into "modulate mode" when needed. -
Thanks for the info Annie! Boomer.....who thinks this might be a lot cheaper than chrome-framed screen doors.
-
I am sorely tempted to try this method.....but prolly won't. Boomer..........who won't mess around with Momma's warshing machine or diswasher as this may prove hazardous to his health.

Yep.....and a lot cheaper than Loc-Tite too. Boomer.....who reminds all that ya have to be sneaky when yer boosting yer wife's clear nail polish.

Mobil 1 didn't help
BoomerCPO replied to Hummingbird's topic in Royal Star Venture Tech Talk ('99 - '13)
That's the oil I use in my Venture. It did reduce the infamous "whine" quite a bit.....and the 4-2-4-'s takes care of the rest. I have come to the conclusion that you either learn to live with the "whine" or climb on another make/model scoot. My decision to keep the Venture was an easy one as I truly enjoy this bike. I don't change the oil plug gasket....but check it carefully for any leakage! Boomer.........who's Venture runs like a scalded ape with a road flare stuck up its a$$. -
If it is loud sounding exhaust that you want there is nothing out there to top the 4-2-4 Nasty Boys. They WILL hear you.... coming and going. Boomer......who enjoys disrupting the sex life of the squirrels with his 4-2-4's.

Feed me cheesecake:crackup:....no whips and chains please. Boomer........who knows he's the Boss.....when the Missus is not around.

No durn way I can live with THAT logic............ Boomer.....who's not good at asking and thinks "stupid" applies only to female logic.

Ohhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh....he knew he was in the wrong on this one!! He's just finally figured out that a little road trip always makes me forget about being mad at him! Nothing like sunshine, a great bike, and beautiful scenery to clear the air!! All's well that ends well! Well I don't want to know what he did wrong..... Boomer....who's on a long learning curve with his Missus and enjoys his time in the doghouse....especially so since that's where the booze is stored.
