    IMHO I would say you no longer have a Midnight Venture....simply a Venture....... which will no longer run as fast as a Midnight. Boomer.......who thinks the only thing that should be two-toned is a toilet seat...... and a trap door in front of the refrigerator to nail the MIL.

    Wish I could help you Annie. There are so many variations of handlebars offered out there it really is hard to offer up one in specific. A lot of folks here have gone with the Flanders handlebars but that also means running longer control cables too I think. Once you find the right combo of seat comfort and handlebar fit You will be a happy camper for sure! Good luck. Boomer.....whose knuckles drag on the ground and don't need different bars on his scoot.

    I just checked the gas cap and yes the darn screws were loose! It is tips like this that really make one appreciate this Site!!! Boomer.....going through his 3rd tube of Blue LocTite now......and who will not go boom using a lighter near the gas tank.

    Removed the trunk mechanism last year and don't miss it one bit. One less piece of junk to deal with IMHO........... Boomer.....with a trunk that opens and closes easily now.......and knows the 1st Genners will jump on this.

    3 years ago I went to great effort and expense to purchase and set-up 50 American Flags on 10 foot PVC poles for our Patriot Guard Missions here in CT. There was nothing cheap about doing this....and the National PGR does not provide funding for Flags/Poles. I hope they locate the stolen Flags/Poles.They really do mean a lot to any Mission they are used on. Boomer........who hopes there is a special place in Hell for anyone who would stoop so low as to steal Patriot Guard Mission Flags.

    Ok guys.....Before I head out in the morning I'll boost the pressure up to 41 psi in both tires and let the chips fall where they may. Boomer.......who's putting his trust in the same group that he BS's a lot.

    The new set of Michelin Commanders I put on the bike are impressive. The bike handles soooooo much better! I don't believe I will ever put a set of Dunlops on a bike ever again. Today I rolled over 150 miles on the new tires and the little nubs are STILL in place on both of the tires...... Now all I gotta do is dial in the correct tire pressure to maximize the wear on these tires. Running 35psi on both tires now. Sidewalls on both tires say 41 psi max as taken cold. My guess is if I run them at max sidewall pressure that pressure will be higher than 41 psi when the tires heat up and that puts them in a over-pressure state which would quickly wear out the center of the tires. Any thoughts about this guys? Boomer.......who's gonna run the twisties pretty hard this weekend for sure......and leaving the sipping whiskey at home too.

    For the most part Riders wave at each other here regardless of what they are riding. There are exceptions to that; and yes those exceptions are mostly the Harley and BMW riders. It don't matter to me if they wave back or not.....I'm comfortable with being the first to offer the Brotherhood wave to any Rider I see. Boomer......who's friendly to all except when they start drooling over my sippin whiskey and girlie mags.
