  1. Thanks for looking Herb. I have a couple of extra covers, but unfortunately they came off MkI motors. Just looking around for one to make the 1300 in the '84 official...
  2. various good condition 86/93 engine cases (make offer, p/s), Hey Herb, Want to elaborate on this a little. I'm not sure what you mean by cases?? I've been looking for a 1300 stator cover. Just the disc in the center. Also looking for an engine pan??
  3. The only place you can find them any longer is Ebay, or do like I did and buy one with the bling already installed. Ebay's mostly during the riding season. During the winter there isn't much. Lately, with the economy being what it is, sellers aren't willing to list the nice cosmetic stuff, and have it sell at half of what it would have brought a year ago. This summer will be a good indicator of what we can expect out of Ebay for a while.
  4. Nope...No snow here. It's 45 degs and a little wet if that helps any....
  5. ARRRGH!!! MATEY... WE BE HI-JACKED.... http://www.iconbazaar.com/flags/animated/miscellaneous/jolly_roger_a1a.gif
  6. Earl, I think the trick here is for you to set the quantity available, and let the buyer pick the number ordered. 'Course, I've never had need to do something like that so I'm coming out of left field....
  7. Heh Heh!! Thanks for the reminder Vic. I forgot, plus it's wet out there. Attached is the best I could do...
  8. Ya'll need a beer warmer instead of a beer fridge.... unless you like dem beer popcycles...
  9. No rush Earl. With 6 bikes... 2 on the street, and 4 in'Kit Form', one or two probably have the wobble, and will need help. Thought washers might be a great thing to have sitting in reserve. I'm surprised that there hasn't been more activity on them from other members. I know when we did the group buy on the fork braces there were quite a few members who were trying to cure the 'wobbles'...., and for $3 bucks you can't beat the price.
  10. You've got Paypal Earl.........
  11. I thought by now someone would have posted a pic?? I'll go take a pic of a set on my '91 and post it tomorrow. Hang in there.....
  12. Hey Earl, those might be something I need for my stash. Maybe 5 ea. Do you take Paypal??
  13. Nope...not me, but there's a lotta happy elves running around here....
  14. Have at it Bob. I just have it saved because it's interesting... Egad!! what has life come to when an auction for a speedo is interesting????

    More Snow

My grandaughter sent pictures of her playing in 6 inches of the stuff in her front yard..... in Apple Valley CA. That's out in the Mojave dessert just north of L.A.....
  16. There's a new one on Ebay. SPEEDO And an '85 DASH Personally I'd rather swap out the intire dash than split the housing.
  17. Here's an example of a polished aluminum board off a 1stGen. Cost about $40 bucks to have the parts buffed out. Cheaper than buying new ones....
  18. This came in this morning via Email, and it's really interesting. http://articles.mercola.com/sites/articles/archive/2008/12/18/regenerative-medicine-spare-body-parts-for-you-very-soon.aspx
  19. Yep, you never know what some of these bidders will do. I've been looking for a RCBS Rock Chucker Supreme reloading press, and the last one sold new in the box for $176 plus shipping off Ebay. You can buy one from Cabella's for $119 with free shipping. Go figure. It's P.T. Barnum gone wild...

    Spammers

Joe, I think what Don is refering to is your 'real' address provided by your ISP, or your website host.. Yahoo, Gmail, etal, are available for free if you can think up a name that hasn't been used already.....

    Spammers

My simpathies Don. I tried implementing a bulletin board classified section to my website and it took about a week and the $%#@%& spammers ruined it. So I just said screw it... Hope you find a big padlock.... Something you might try with one of those recognition things like Craigslist. They have a two word password, but only the first word is needed to post. Maybe with the second it confuses the spammers??? Good Luck
  22. Thanks Rick. That center pic looks pretty good. Was that you or your photographer that shot that one? The other two show one of my greatest attributes, butt I figured I'd archive the one in the center.....
  23. Well folks it's been a long time coming, but I finally feel safe enough to announce that I've received 11 of the 15 sets of MAC Mufflers that were ordered. I actually had 3 sets come in about 3 weeks ago, but thought I'd just keep my mouth shut, because if that's all I'd ever get I was up the proverbial creek, and really didn't know what I would have done... But MAC shipped another 6 late last week which arrived yesterday afternoon and then 2 more show'd up with in the last hour. So.... here's what's going to happen. I should have enough to satisfy all those that have already ponied up your paypal payments... if any of you can remember back that far ....., and I'll start shipping them out after the Christmas Holidays. For those that have expressed an interest in picking up a set if there are any spares, I'll see what it looks like after the smoke clears and drop you an email to see if you are still interested. I want to thank everyone for being so patient with this whole thing. Have a VERY MERRY CHRISTMAS, and think CHROME....
  24. I took some doing, but I finally got PS to make the mess go away....
