I don't need the molding that goes at the windshield. There are two chrome molding strips that are on the fairing. So members have removed them for a custom look. Earl

Now the question is are all 3 of them supposed to light up. Guessing so since there are 3 wires for some reason. No, the headlight switch sends one hot wire to the dimmer switch. The other two wires go to the headlight bulbs. One will have voltage when the dimmer switch is on low beam and the other one will have voltage when the dimmer switch is on high beam position. Earl

Check the voltage at the headlight bulb. I was working on a 69 Chevelle a few years back and all four of the headlight bulbs were bad. Earl

I used Epoxy for household and workshop use. It was transparent when it dried. Do not let the glue get in the mounting screw holes. Earl
