Give me a call 839-5290. What shift are you on? Are they having the bike nights in A'burg yet? Cruise night at Heritage Village this Thursday maybe? Ramblingman is heading to Americade this weekend. He could probably get a set from Sierra for you if you get some $$ to him before he leaves.

I have the Yamaha studded one like this if you are interested. http://www.yamahasportsplaza.com/pages/catalogs/detail/26/210/409/4254/1/0/0/1/4/90/69/338/wide-leather-tank-panel-with-pocket.aspx It was on my '03 and is faded a bit but doesn't look too bad. It could be re-dyed and would look like new. $50.00 plus actual shipping cost.

There's not much difference with just the G2 bars but there's no reason I know of why you couldn't use the risers and the G2 bar. Just so long as they don't hit your legs or the tank or anything. Also you would probably need to replace all you hoses and cables. I'm not sure if the wiring would be long enough or not either.

Brad, It could be in your patch cord. Try a known good headset. Also what does your truck have to do with the CB on your bike???? "I removed the truck checked all the connections" And what's a faiting? "Removed front faiting "

Hey Randy, I just picked up a set from Sierra Electronics ($75.00) that work both with a 1/2 helmet or no helmet. I haven't had a chance to try them out other than in the store but I think they are going to be fine. If you want to see them and try them just say the word. http://www.sierra-mc.com/proddetail.asp?prod=IMC%2DHS%2DG45U

I've had good luck with the Silverstar bulb. Mine actually made it through the accident and I'm reusing it on my new bike. -
Oh no Alex, sorry to hear that. I've been getting my safety chrome from http://www.yamahasportsplaza.com/ They offer 25% off and pretty good service too.

Another vote here for the Silverstar H4. -
PM's are not working this morning for some reason. Just punch in 247 Rd. 11, Kingsville Ontario. It's not hard to find and only about 30 minuets from the bridge. Lots of road construction in Detroit around the bridge area but it's not hard to get through. You can't take a bike in the tunnel so don't even think about it. You have to take the bridge.

Tom, Here in Canada's sun parlor October is usually a good riding time. We never get any measurable snow until Dec. And even then the salt they put on the road will be deeper than the snow. Not to say we don't get some cool days in Oct. but generally it's a great time of year to ride. The first full week of Oct. is open. We'll keep the light on for y'all eh! I expect you will want to travel back and forth on the weekends so if any of the working stiffs up here want to join in with us they better book some vacation time. (you listening Brad T.)

Will do. Just as soon as I know the dates. Got to show Tom and Debby a good time. Not sure if they will be able to be here on a weekend or not due to Tom's schedule

Maybe Don's official new member greeting could include a link to the info on the International Rally and an invitation to join in.

Hey Reiny, anyway to send a mass PM to all these folks. I know many members don't look at the site too often. If you go down the member list some have joined and never been back since signing on. They don't know what they're missing.

2008 VentureRider Rally in Ontario needs your attention.

Not nearly that far. Only 1528 miles according to mapquest. http://www.mapquest.com/maps/Houston+TX/Kitchener+ON/ -
Well, I guess my experience with the 404's is the exception here as I have had nothing but good luck with them. I've worn out four sets and have run them for 14000 to 16000 miles. Of course the closer they get to being used up the poorer the handling gets especially on wet road but that's probably the case with all M/C tires. I'm a WWW fan and so my choices are limited. I did try the Avons with the smaller front tire but I wasn't as impressed as others. Never got a chance to wear them out so I don't know what kind of mileage I would have got out of them. I wish they would make the WWW's in the stock RSV sizes so I could give them another try. SW moto tire has stopped carrying the Avon WWW's for some reason.

Don, When I got home last night I couldn't get on the site using my regular book mark. Kept getting a message from you saying the site was down. This morning I got the same message so I Googled VentureRider.org and was able to get in and I book marked that and haven't had any more trouble.

Thanks Bill, Linda and all the others responsible for the great weekend M&E. I had a great time and found out that I can still ride. We took the long way home by way of Louisville KY and put on about 1750 miles. Got home last night about 8:30. It was great seeing some old friends and meeting some new ones too.

WE made it. Got here at the Best Western at 3:30. All is well.

We're on our way. Made it as far as Lafayette Indiana before the rain came so we stopped for the night. Not doing too bad. My back side is a little sore and my left shoulder too but other than that everything is going fine. The bike is working great. First tank of gas, 200 miles on 4.2 gallons. Not too bad I'd say. See you tomorrow.

Well, another chapter is closed. Since I don't have all of my go power back yet and my enthusiasm for many things just isn't the same anymore, I decided to take your advice and let the bike go. They came to pick it up this afternoon and very unceremoniously pulled it up on a flat bed, skidding it up the deck on it's side. I'm glad it's gone and I don't have to look at it anymore.

I was able to put H.D. fishtail tips on my Bubs. I would think any of the tips available for the Harley mufflers would be just as easy to use too. Just takes a little back yard engineering to make them fit.
