Not a Royal Star but Still a Yamaha... A friend of mine called me a few weeks back and asked if I wanted to buy their Motorcycle. I couldn't pass it up it was so cute.. lol It is a 1983 Virago 500 with only 5743 miles on it. Still looks and runs great.. Not sure what Im going to do with it, I just like the way it looks.. I feel like an elephant on a mini-bike when I get on it. I have decided to let my 1 gen, go. I don't ride long distances as much these days and so I picked up a couple of sport touring bikes. There is a lot of work into this bike to make it nice and trouble free. Some of the parts on the bike I picked up from Condor here on the boards. I'm sure you can ask him about the condition of the bike and what he thinks as he has seen it threw out my building it. I got the 88 1300 motor from him. I can pull the auction when I want............ You may notice that I have been doing some work on the menu bars at the top of the page. The lower menu bar was getting pretty crowded while the upper bar was almost empty so I've moved some things around. So...if you think something is missing, just look around a bit and you should find it. For example, the link to the chat room is now in the upper menu bar on the right side beside the donate button. Really...I just did it to keep you all confused.

I just bought a Royal Star Venture. It is "white." I received policy information from my insurance company and they classified this MC as a "midnight." I found a link on the web and the VIN came back as a "midnight," too! I thought all "midnights" were black....! What is a JYAVP04E74A006946.... really?

Is anyone having trouble connecting to the ebay link at the bottom of the home page . When I go to the bottom of the ebay list I see that there is 290 articles for sale. When I click on the link it comes up with 2700 articles for sale many of which are not related to bikes. Does anyone have a suggestion???

I am working on a story about our trip to Florida for the magazine I write for. I have posted quite a bit of it and am almost finshed.
