I think we need to know more about this particular program that "disappears". That seems to be where the problem is and not necessarilly Win7 ... Win7 does allow you to a) install in compatibility mode and b) run in compatibility mode. Perhaps this is what is needed??

You'll no doubt get a lot positive feedback on both of the above. No, it's not as powerful as a GW1800 ... but it's got more power than most folks need. You can't go be cc displacement for determining power. This is a 4cyl engine that thrives on higher revvs, where it's power band is. It will disappoint you if you try and drive it like a V-twin but it will surprise you if you drive it the way it's designed. There's few bikes out there that offer as much passenger comfort as the RSV. Nothing more to say about that.

according to his info, he's a Shih tsu but I believe he has a mix of something else. He sure is cute and smart and well behaved for a 7 month old pup. He's going this morning for his first (by us) grooming session.... he sure needs it, the young lady that we got him from has been too busy working and going to school to properly look after him and even though there were other family members around, they just weren't into it either. -

Yes, I believe he has something else in him... which in my mind, is good. We picked up the little guy this evening and he's already settled in his new home. Tomorrow if we can get a time, he's off to the groomer for a bath and a haircut, ears cleaned,, etc. -

Billet Air Cleaner Covers
SilvrT replied to Condor's topic in Royal Star Venture Tech Talk ('99 - '13)
sawweeeeeeeeett!! my address for shipping is..... -
Prices I stated were as of Feb 22nd so although I haven't checked today, I imagine they're into the buck-thirty something range.
-
It's definately a scam. The location where the guy is, is in Africa for one thing and after a bit of google research, it's documented as a scam. He got back to me saying all I'd have to pay is $200 up front for the shipping costs .... yeahsureright!

Just looked at the recent gas prices in most major cities in Canada. We're around $1.24 per litre (that's about $4.70 per US gal) and we're the highest in all of Canada. Most other places are about 10 cents per litre cheaper and even Victoria, which is our next closest major centre, which is across the straight from us is cheaper. Lowest price posted is $1.01 up in Edmonton, Alberta. Now I know the cost of crude is going up and why but there's really something wrong when we Canucks have to pay such a high price, not to mention why Vancouver is so much higher than most of the rest of Canada. Thankfully our vehicles don't run on water coz to buy a litre of that would be outrageous! LOL

Oil Leak Troubles
SilvrT replied to crockettrider's topic in Royal Star and Royal Star Tour Deluxe Tech Talk
Drain some oil out to about 1/2 on the sight glass, clean the area again and see what happens. -
Been there, done that ... they don't have what I want and before they do, they want to know more about me than a bank would if I wanted to borrow a million dollars. Not to mention their adoption fees are ridiculous.
-
yep, I plan to ... I responded ... Thanks for the pics. I will consider your offer along with other, coincidentally similar offers I've had. dang... they even try and get ya in pet ads LOL !

I responded to an ad for a pup on Kijiji.ca asking for more info & pics and what the price is. Here's the response I got.... sure looks like a scam to me... Thanks for the mail and interest in the little puppies. I am having Just one puppy remaining. I also wish to inform you that, i am not giving it for sale but for adoption. Its name is Kenny and it is 11 weeks old. He is a male puppy. I love him so much but its unfortunate that, i can't even give him the love and affection i have in my heart for him. I am on a volunteer mission to Victoria British Cameroon together with the UN malaria committee ,in regards to the disease in pregnant women and children. I traveled up here together with Kenny and my 9 year old daughter. They won´t allow Kenny into the country for reason being that, pets are not allowed into the country from other countries and i have been given a maximum of 2 weeks to send him back to Canada. So that is the reason i have to find for him a home back in Canada where he will be showered with all that love and affection. Hope you won't mind me asking you some few questions: Do you really want to adopt this puppy? Do you have any experience with puppies? Do you have kids? Where are you located in Canada ? Will you consider him as part of your family in future if you take him? I am just being concerned about the type of home he will be going to so that is why i am curious to know. I love him so much and i want to make sure he goes to a family that will show him the affection he deserves. He is health guaranteed, and will come along with all his papers, diapers, dog blankets, play toys, crate and food menu. He is very playful and goes along with kids and other home pets. He loves to be held and cuddled and sometimes want all the attention for him self. . So if you can stand the chance of taking him home, you will only need to pay for his transportation fee. This fee will be paid directly to the airport providing his delivery because i did not pay for a round trip when i was coming down to Victoria British Cameroon. But i am sorry i first of all need to know if you are interested in the idea before i will know if we can proceed with the re-shipping arrangements. Also i will need answers to my questions. Waiting to read from you soon.

Some dogs are inherently aggressive, others aren't. I'm a firm believer that they can be trained not to be. It boils down to "who's the pack leader" or "who believes they should be the pack leader". It's obvious tazmocycle's dog is in their house LOL I'm also very "into" Cesar Milan's "Dog Whisperer" show and his philosophy. If you haven't seen his stuff, check it out .... http://www.cesarsway.com/ -
Give up Brian .... ain't no way nohow I'll move to that flat, frozen land LOL. If I move anywhere, it will be south of here .... far, far south ... like maybe Los Osos area .... really like it down there.

I like the looks of those Min Pins .... but I don't think they are classified as non-shedding or hypo-allergenic (or whatever that word is LOL) ... Nina is allergic to cats and dogs that shed, especially cats, so we're limited to what we can have. -
The above clicked another thing to be watchful for .... taking a left-hand curve .... don't get too close to the centre line .... there just might be a cage coming towards ya that is either crowding or over the line .... If you are travelling on a straight that is, say 55 mph with a corner coming up with a "slow to 35 mph" ... what are you going to do if you're not going to "slow before the curve"??? The point is to slow down before the curve so that you aren't hitting the brakes while into the curve. Applying gentle power thru the curve (aka powering through) helps you to maintain control ... if you're braking or coasting while in the corner, you are not going to have very good control IMHO.

ya, I was looking at that breed .... we haven't gotten anything yet ... the one I posted the pic of ... the owner seems to be stalling on making an appointment to pick him up. We went over to see him last night.... really nice little dog... took to us right away. Curious guys/gals.... what do ya'll pay for these kind of dogs down south? pups of Shih-tsu, Maltese, Yorkie, Silky, Bishon, etc breeds???? Around here they go for anywhere from $400 all the way up to $1400!! Cripe!! the one we're looking at is $600. -

I've seen several dogs on trailers behind the bike ... that was always a thought of mine. Some were in an open cage and one, the cage was sitting where the cooler would normally go. Sheesh!!! right in line with the exhaust. I wouldn't do that!! Now, the pic eusa1 posted, it would seem that the exhaust would be sufficiently dissipated and not enough harmful fumes would reach the dog.
