    Dano: Can you do this for a Vmax? Want to get that running first before getting back to my '83 Venture. I've been out of commission for a while (4th surgery on my eye today since november) and all my bikes are on injured reserve.

    Was looking at the iphone 4s today. set up the account to make the changeover from my blackberry. Stopped halfway through until I was sure what would happen. Suddenly, my Netflix and Hulu accounts (and who knows what else) have been hijacked. It's been a bad month - lost the sight in one eye; two surgeries gives me a decent chance. It's too bad pistols don't work online - hijackers beware!

    I avoided a midlife crisis this morning. Stopped myself from buying a 2nd Gen MR2. It was a close call!

    I hate heights! It's so much easier to climb up a mountain than back down again. Road surfaces that force your wheels are even worse.

    Geez, contractors! This is the USA. You tell them what you want, they give you a price and it gets done. In our dreams, anyway. They always overbook and underperform. Building a house taught me. Get at least three bids, and choose the middle one. Then stay on their ass every day. Good luck!

    I love my heel shifter (learned on an old Honda ct90), but that's a cool mod for someone with big feet, or who just want a little more room.

    That's great news. I hope for the same soon. Had emergency surgery on my rigfht eye up in MEMEPHIS Friday. good chance of eyesight by next month. Hard to type face down. Does anyone ride with one eye?

    I'm saddened to learn that one of us has had an accident. I've just re-upped from my old 1st Gen Venture, and was unaware. May God bless him.

    Is this fix still available? And, can someone point me to where I can find guidance on how to do it? My computer of some years recently was wiped, and with it my service manual pdfs.

    I have my '83 in a similar garage right now - starter seems to be bad. As for the rear brake, get a mighty-vac and bleed, bleed, bleed. Then bleed some more. It took me days. This thread has some great carb advice, which I'm gonna use on my Vmax. Only ridden twice since I bought it; can't trust it yet. It handles like a hog on roller skates, nothing like the Venture.
