but the newer stainless steel rotors and hard pads are awesome and stop the trike very well now don't even have to use the front brake anymore :happy65:I am very happy with this new set up now. Jeff

what was your cost on this unit ? I am seeing 145 or so now. I would consider it for a little less I think. I saw that they used to be 125 or so shipped.

I as well at the age of 28 was in a very bad bike accident, wife just had our first child. she is now 30 this month, but after that accident I did not ride for 10 years , And like Buddy's story , one day the light went on and I got back on . and have been riding ever since. I have had problems with my back and other parts from extensive radiation treatments (5 years ago) then I decided to trike so I could keep on riding. :-) I miss ponch very much and I am hoping one day I could meet him in person. Maintenance complete but could use a little help
Cougar replied to archeryguy's topic in General Tech Talk
Morgan Tune.. it is worth it.. and you can do it yourself. I just did mine in 10 mins yesterday. wish you were closer . Jeff -
Welcome Phil !! Now your in for the ride of your life.. Have fun on your new ride!

As I ALWAYS get off my bike on the left to fill the main tank I have never dismounted from the right side. so this makes it easier to be able to stand on the same side to fill both tanks with the hannigan tank you have to go to the right side
-
I think the best part is that the FILL is on The LEFT SIDE instead of the right:happy65: I am so happy with this I can just

I was the 2nd person to get one of these AUX TANK kits and the FIRST to do it SOLO. I would say you will have about 10 hours into installing it by yourself, not bad at all. I got mine finished up yesterday morning and now have about 300 miles on the tank. It is a real nice feeling to know that you have more then enough fuel for the day and like me getting out on those lonley back roads this is the ticket. I now have a total of 11.5 Gals of fuel on board. Larry has built a top Qulitey product , He has done everything for you all the way to the end, and his support is always there for you as well. what also is very nice is that there is no welding and not over filling main tank --it is all seprate . I like that. Larry has made this pretty much a plug and play tank. The cost is almost half the price as Hannigans and you also have more avalibe fuel ! If I can help anyone in the future with your install feel free to contact me if Larry is not around! Thank you Larry for a great product ! LOL Jeff

:sign yeah that:Great Gang ! They ROCK!
-
Tearing what tape off? It held 5.324 Gals but remember this is still top secret as Larry has not made any announcements yet about it.
-
Jay, All I can say is WOW... what a difference . like day and night with the new rotors/hard pads (((PERFECT))) .... now the trike will stop on a dime, great up-grade! Oh and that other little problem is fixed. ask Larry *LOL* Did about a 50 mile test ride and all went real smooth! Happy Camper, Jeff

Don't go any place LOL--- going to bed soon I think.. then get her all button up Sunday! *crossing fingers*

It was LOL.... Larry and I have been emailing back and forth ALL DAY!! Not a good day for me.. NO GUESS WHAT!!! Brakes all done, Now since moving the caliper there are some stick on weights on the inside rim and when the tire turns the weights hit the caliper :shock3:LOL to much fun today! Thought I would have had it all button up by now.. I will start fresh in the AM Jeff
